uh yeah, I just don't get it.
But Gruden's a "new" playcaller at Washington. So Jackson can't possible match last season. Meanwhile the Cowpukes having a new playcaller is an advantage.

Surprised that the cowpuke writer didn't tout Witten more, but maybe they're afraid of what Jordan Reed can do, with Garcon and Jackson as deep threats?

Eli Manning of New York Giants undergoes ankle surgery - ESPN New York

Some News ,

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle Thursday, the team announced.

Manning said in a release issued by the team that he expects to be able to run again in about six weeks.
He sprained his ankle in the final game of the 2013 season against the Redskins and has spent the offseason rehabbing it. The procedure was described as a debridement of the ankle and was performed by foot and ankle specialist Robert Anderson in Charlotte, N.C. Manning has been in North Carolina this week working out at Duke with some of his receivers.

Hope it's nothing trivial.

The comments are pretty much the only reason to read PFT.

The NFL am show on the NFL network decided to do a caption contest on twitter. It was a pic of Tiger Woods and Tony Romo golfing together and they were on a green. Romo was on a knee trying to read the putt. So Londer Fletcher decided to join in and captioned it "Why is he taking all this time just to choke".

“It was definitely frustrating,” he said. “I felt great coming into [2013] and I was hoping I could better my stats and help the offense more. But I wasn’t able to do that. Being a competitor and a receiver who wants the ball every play -- you obviously can’t get the ball every play -- but I have that mentality. Whenever there’s a pass play I want the ball in my hands and I think I can do something special with it. When you don’t get the opportunity, it was definitely really frustrating for me.”
...

“Going into [this year], I wanted to be the No. 2 receiver. But I still don’t how it’s going to work out. Obviously, when you look at how much money is being made each guy, you’d think that’s going to be [the] No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3.”

Andre Roberts wonders about his role - Washington Redskins Blog - ESPN
Feel bad for Roberts, he's certainly been pushed to #3 now when he thought he would get a chance for #2. It's where he's best suited and he makes us better, so I'm glad he's here.. but he's not going to get a chance to be #2 here, barring injury.

Oh Lord I hope this dude isn't already going to be a drama queen about this. Fact is Djax and PG are both much better than Roberts.

Whatever dude, you just got a nice contract.
You want to be the #2?
Just beat out Jackson in training camp...simple as that.

He will probably end up with more catches than PJ & D. Jax. Safeties playing deep and double teaming PJ & D. Jax leaving the middle open for Roberts & jordan.
