Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013
RG3's knee was not the only reason we lost to Seattle. In order to beat the better teams, we're going to need playmakers that can get the ball in the end zone. Davis can do that better than Cooley, Paul and Paulsen.

I think it comes down to what cost though. Redskins probably assessed Davis's value and if he wants more than what he is worth and some one else is going to give that to him, than they should let him go.

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013
I gotta say, with PG our offense was on one level, and FD was a level of explosiveness above Paulson, so I would really like to see our offense run with Garcon, FD, Morris on the field at one time. Granted without Banks we may never score again, but someone from the offense had to be sacrificed at the salary cap altar.

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013
Davis definitely adds an element to the offense that can't be replicated by Paulsen. If we lose Davis it's a hit to the offense no doubt.

Nope I won't listen; CB makes or breaks you everything else is gravy.

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013
We put up plenty of points without him. Having Garcon and him on the field at the same time would have been incredible.

ESPN 980 @ESPNRadio980
ESPN 980 has learned that the #Redskins have re-signed ILB/ST ace Bryan Kehl to a new deal. Contract is signed already |

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013
I agree. I remember the first game of the 2011 season where Davis had his first 100 yard career game against the Giants. But that drug suspension and trying to come off this Achilles injury has lowered his potential for a big contract that he probably will never receive. But I'm willing to bet that some team in the NFL would be willing to give him a better deal than the Redskins. Besides, else could there be that is taking the Redskins so long to present Davis a contract?

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013
We need a solid veteran CB. But we can't afford Davis if we do that. To get a Talib (Or Fred Davis back, for that matter) or similiar, we are going to have to cut/restructure more guys. Thats probably the hold up right now, no one willing to step up and restructure...
