Super Bowl!
Although I won't lie, I think Rex Ryan is a good coach who can definitely take advantage of Landry if Landry is healthy.

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Per Schefter, it's 1 year/$4 million.
Like Carlos Rogers, he went out there looking to lock up a long term big money contract and ends up with a one year trial. Let's see if the results are the same

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
I doubt it. The Jets run a 3/4 also and Landry sucks in the 3/4. It requires the Safety and Free Safety to cover a lot which Landry can't do. They will have the same problems we had with him. Then there is the health issue.

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
after peyton's deal, they don't have all that much left i'd imagine. enough for a MLB no doubt, but 19mill a year is a lot.

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Are they planning on playing him at FS? I heard thats what they were looking for when they went looking for a safety.

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Wow, we didn't want to keep him for money around 1yr/$4 million?
The coaches/front office must have really just had enough. |

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Thought he would have been a bargain price option for us and depth on the right side. Ah well.

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Landry's as good as done unless they just send on blitzes with him all the time. And of course, being the foolish yet unwitting masochist that he is, he obviously will screw up his Achilles once again before the season's end and then leave the Jets contract-less when he ignores the doctors' advice to get surgery. Then three years down the line, he wonders why he isn't playing football anymore....

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Landry should consider himself lucky. He's one of the few Redskins to actually get another contract after leaving the team.

Landry to the jets is a good fit, his bro played under Rex in Baltimore if I'm correct.. also LL can just come at the line a lot more now
