Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
I don’t believe either Allen or Snyder, why would Trent Williams have said this back in 2019:
Washington parted ways with everyone that frustrated Williams in the first place. He told reporters that he has a “ton of respect” for team owner Dan Snyder and that he “personally loved” recently fired coach Jay Gruden. His anger instead fell on the medical staff and team president Bruce Allen. Washington fired Allen and the head trainer a day after the end of the regular season. With a reshaped front office and medical staff, the path was cleared for a reunion. Building a relationship with Rivera and his hires seemed to be the only thing left before a Williams return. That deteriorated, though.

Interested parties who have tried to move the potential sale foreword are reportedly experiencing resistance. I wonder if Dan might have changed his mind on selling and has now decided to go down with the ship, expose the NFL, and basically go the nuclear option when they attempt to force him out. Just playing devil's advocate here. It sure is quiet on the "sell" front, especially after yet another damning report has came out. At this point I think we are all kind of numb to all of the bad news that comes out against Dan. The Mary Jo White investigation, if it is ever released, I'm sure would have had the recommendation to have Dan removed as the owner. But would it be enough???

Sadly, I don't see any way where he still doesn't walk away with billions. Happily, I'd bet my last penny on it he is a miserable human being regardless of how much money he has.

Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
This appears to be the latest
Bank hired by Daniel Snyder moves forward on sale process for Commanders IRVING, Tex. — The investment bank hired by Washington Commanders owner Daniel Snyder is moving forward with the process for him to consider offers to purchase all or part of his franchise. Bank of America is poised to send what amounts to a prospectus for the team to qualified potential buyers who agree to the confidentiality provisions, according to two people with knowledge of the process. While those materials likely will not specify whether Snyder intends to sell the entire franchise or a portion of it, four people familiar with the process said they believe a full sale is the most likely outcome. All spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the level of secrecy surrounding the deliberations. One person expressed the belief that it no longer is feasible for Snyder to inform fellow NFL owners that he plans to keep control of the team and sell only a minority share. Any sale, whether it involves the entire team or a portion of it, must be approved by at least three-quarters of the other NFL team owners. |

No way the owners approve a minority stake sale.

And I'm pretty sure no one is going to bid for partial ownership knowing this.

It be the greatest day ever I f he sold it and we won the Super Bowl next year
How awkward would it be if we won it this year and Roger handing him the trophy

Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
I am genuinely nervous of anything that might make him change his mind about selling, even those totally justifiable hearings and investigations. The team doing well in the playoffs, let alone winning the superbowl, is I think one of those things. This is what his ownership has done to me, I am not sure if I want the team to make a deep run in the playoffs before the sale is done.

If he refuses to sell the owners will move to push him out.
