Although he is a former Cowgirl, I generally like Troy Aikman as an analyst, but tonight I wasn't a fan...I can't believe he actually thought that DeAngelo Hall should have been penalized for sliding to two knees after his TD return...Are you F'n serious. Just because your Boyz have been penalized for being a collective pack of dumbasses for some of their silly celebration and other penalties, doesn't mean that a simple slide to your knees is a flag...c'mon guy...

Pickup your game next week bubba...

Good win for the Skins. On the road against a great defense and a team contending for the playoffs... can't ask for much more.

No such thing as a bad win

Seriously...when they were showing the replay and he was saying that one knee is okay but two knees is excessive, I wasn't sure if he was completely serious or not.

Re: Week 7: Redskins vs. Bears Gameday thread

Its all about the WINS baby! Want to see the progress from this offense of course, but this week we got as many WINS as we achieved all last season 7 weeks in.

Great game DHall! WOW

#92 nice performance, best of the year keep it up.

Ryan stop fumbling but keep running son!

Way to hang in there in get to 4-3! Next week go hard against Detroit get to 5-3 and into the bye we go, perfect timing!

I don't know about you guys, but I am very disappointed in Shanahan's play calling and Donovan's inability to audible in obvious situations. Thank god we have a star in the making in Ryan Torain, posting 125 yards on 21 carries on the really good Bears defense

I am with you on that. Thank God we have a D that is now capable of making big plays, but someday the lack of O is going to catch up with us.

Team is going to kill me one of these days, they stepped it up second half, but still played like crap.

And how about Brian Orakpo? 7 weeks, 7 sacks. The man is getting it done. He'd have more if they didn't hold too.

DeAngelo Hall etches name in record book, next to 18 others

Posted by Mike Florio on October 24, 2010 4:15 PM ET
With four interceptions of Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, and at least two celebration penalties for going to the ground that weren't called, Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall has tied the all-time single-game record.

Hall joins 18 guys on a list that started in 1943 with Sammy Baugh, also of the Redskins. Most recently (nine years ago), Deltha O'Neal picked off four while playing for Redskins coach Mike Shanahan in Denver.

The interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, helped send the Redskins to a 17-14 win over the Bears, which has dropped them to 4-3.

Chicago's loss -- their second in a row at home after a 4-1 start -- means that the winner of tonight's Vikings-Packers game (on NBC) will have a clear path to taking control of the NFC North.

Anyone else frustrated with the coaches sitting AH against the Texans and Colts?

Yay! We win!

props to Torain, DHall, Rocky (forced a fumble), and even to AH.

The defense really helped to win that game. This bud's for the defense.

I'd be more frustrated if he were still being held out. But, yeah, dude's becoming beastly.

Re: Week 7: Redskins vs. Bears Gameday thread

the positive though to AH being held out those two loses is that at least he's well rested and good to go for the next couple games.

Detroits going to be a lot tougher IMO than this game...

Re: Week 7: Redskins vs. Bears Gameday thread

About time he starts to get it. He played well today, and so did the defense as a whole! Great job, and they save Donovan from his worst performance of the year with a great job on defense getting turnovers.

I hope this was #5s one bad INT game. It is nice to have a defense to take the ball away 7 times?
