Flacco might turn out to be the best of three. On NFL Network they were actually comparing Ryan to Brady when they played the other game. I was like WTF?
Flacco has ok WR's and 3 pretty good RB's and a rebuilt OL, which make him even more formidable. Actually the guy that should get the credit for his development is Cam Cameron. To me, I would love to see him be our coach someday.

At first look it appears this is mostly a JC issue.

P.S. Clausen needs to stay at ND for 2010 and get a BCS championship with a healthy M. Floyd it's possible.
Watched again this morning, the line definitely gave him more time than I had originally given him credit for. Campbell's timing look off on his drops, I'll bet it comes out later that he's been playing with a more serious injury than anyone suspects.

I agree. Maybe the pressure got to him or he's hurt worse than we're being told. Either way he kept fighting and pulled out a win. I was very happy to see he didn't quit.

Cam Cameron, the same Cam that use to coach the Dolphins. The Cam that Dolphins fans booed for drafting Ted Ginn Jr. over Brady Quinn. Well he did manage to go 1-15 with the Fins. I guess he would be a upgrade over Zorn(not really). Week 4 lets fire the coach and we are 2-2 wow some fans never change and they want stability in the Redskins organization.

indeed, dude gets hit more than campbell

he's got receivers that are really well in tune with his needs as far as coming back to the ball.. and probably a more fitting offense for himself and would be for Campbell as well

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie

I would hate to see the Skins waste a number 1 draft choice on a QB who might not pan out. Furthermore, you can't be patient with personnel who directly affect the QB's play. If these are the best O-Linemen we can get, then we need another set of eyes to watch the O-Line coach! Do they spend enough time in the weight room? They get pushed around quite a bit.

No it really wouldn't because Al Saunders is in charge of the passing game in Baltimore and we all saw how Campbell just mastered and excelled under that system didn't we ?

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie

Here's my personal take on Campbell. How come when he went down, and Collins stepped in and won 4 straight and led us to playoffs how come none of us were complaining about our O-line? We had no O-line problems when Collins was QB'ing. Collins not getting a chance to start is the biggest injustice since sending Warren Moon to the Edmonton Eskimo's. During his 4 regular season starts in Washington he has a QB rating of 106.4.

So he's my bold prediction. If we get a new coach this season, Campbell will be benched, Collins would start and the Skins will start winning again.

Well if I remember right Collins' start also coincided with changes made on the OL. We benched Todd Wade, slid Fabini inside and made Heyer the starting RT.

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie

It also coincided with having a competent guy playing QB. Collins threw the ball before receivers hit their break giving ther receiver the best chance to catch the ball. Collins was very quick with his decisions, something Campbell was not. Were still talking about a less than ideal OL for a career back up that didn't have any of the physical tools that JC has. He played some serious defenses in those 4 games and had this offense looking pretty good.

While I'm sure those adjustments helped, the x-factor was the 106.4 passer rating. His play completely re-energized our team.

Collins would be a sitting duck right now with our o-line...at least JC is a running duck.
