No, you made the claim....you prove it.I'm saying if a professional player at that size does what he suppose to do by attending those team functions then the coach will see that he is in shape and play that person, you on the other hand are saying all players of that size are out of shape and the coachs let them play anyway.....to the detriment of the team and the players health.

I am ready to move on from AH....

Does he make a difference yesterday for our defense? Maybe we bring more pressure, but to be honest I really did not miss him much.

Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth

It's so sad really. If he wanted to he could easily be the leagues most dominant Nose Tackle and the Redskins defense would really go up a level. Unfortunately he's a malcontent that's not worth the paper used to sign his contract. Our guys are right, the NT's on this team are on roller skates. Hopefully they can find someone in the next year or two that can play that Casey Hampton role. In fact I'm actually getting ready to watch the Pitt-Tenn game to see what an elite NT looks like.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
In watching the Boys-Skins game from week 1 it's obvious that Haynesworth is better at NT then Kemo. Even when he gets "blowed out" of the hole he's so fast that he gets right back in there. Also when plays go to the outside you'll notice that Kemo and Bryant stumble while Haynesworth is actually running. In a way it's kind of like Kemo is Shaq and Haynesworth is Dwight Howard. Kemo kind of stands up and doesn't move while Haynesworth gets a push in some way shape or form. If you ask me you wouldn't even have to double team Kemo at this point, rather you'd be better served going after both our linebackers with the Guards. Personally I feel like Kemo isn't as far along in his recovery from his torn Achilles as we originally thought.

In spite of the pounding he took from Collinsworth he actually played well. I hope in the coming weeks that he gets healthy and on top of that gets more playing time because with him in our defense is a lot better. I encourage anyone that can to rewatch the Dallas game and see the difference. The coaching staff and Haynesworth need to find some way to put all this together and move past the drama. If that doesn't work, then try Golston at NT. Basically I would to see the team use someone that can fire off the ball, and if Haynesworth attitude prevents him from seeing the field then at least we can use Golstons motor.

Sorry but he's not better than Casey Hampton or Jay Ratliff. Both are so much better than AH it's not even funny. The bottom line is we shouldn't be playing this defense. I just don't understand why the coaches are so hell bent on playing a 3-4. We simply don't have a true NT. Kemo and AH are 4-3 tackles. To me it's ego based.

If you're talking about recent on field production then yes, Hampton and Ratliff are head and shoulders above Haynesworth. If you're talking about physical talent and ability it's the other way around. That's the part thats so frustrating, even in limited action against Dallas I saw flashes of a guy that has the potential to dominate. The way he moves for a man his size doesn't even seem fair.

Right now I just want them to play him and see if these flashes can translate into something more. If they can then it has the potential to really take this defense, and team to another level. However above all else he has to want it, and right now I have serious doubts about his willingness to play his role. Like I said, it's just frustrating to have that much talent yet not enough trust and confidence to put it to use.

I just think he's terribly overrated. A guy who doesn't "want it" simply has no heart. Plus he's soft, constantly injured. I go back and forth on it but I think it's just time to take what Tenn. is offering and move on.

Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth

Yeah, I'm done buying this BS about AH being dominant and has so much potential. He wasn't even dominant last year. He was good, and at times dominated, but damn sure wasn't dominant. The guy isn't close to Jay Ratliff or Hampton even when he's on his game. I'd take Sean Ellis/Jets over Haynesworth.

When he's actually playing, he's good. But I'm very hesitant to call him the top, without question, defensive tackle in the league. At the rate he's going right now, it will take him another year or two to become the defensive tackle he was with Tennessee.

Same here, man. I don't get it. I really don't. I listen to talk radio and the local media fawn over Haynesworth like he's the second coming of Reggie White (R.I.P). Like I said, I'd take at least three guys, and that's off the top of my head, over Haynesworth.

You nailed it, a guy injured as often as he is and pouts as much as he does will never be a truly dominant, Hall of Fame caliber defensive player.

You want to see some f*cking heart, let me introduce you to the new and improved Laron Landry. How many times did the trainers come on the field for this guy and he bounced right back up? I hope he makes it through the season.

Laron is definitely earning his pay this year with all of those tackles.

Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth

I can't see giving him away and the last game proved we can play with out him. Part of me says trade for whatever you can get for him and hope he's embarrassed for being traded for such low value, or don't trade him unless we get good value since we paid him 21 mill and simply let him ride the bench all yr. Other teams will be reluctant to bring him in if we simply trade him or cut him at the end of the season and he has not played a down all yr.
