3 years form now, Terry may be the only guy on the team or Haskins/Sweat are both busts playing back up roles (2 1st R and 2nd R = not contributing)

Really? McLaurin may hit 1000 yds in his first season. Usually it takes WR a season or two or three to get in stride. Some never get it - like Doctson. If he had a better QB situation he would have been in the Rookie-of-the-Year territory. McLaurin will be our #1 WR for a decade. Holcomb - he could be elite DB. Already, he’s very good, even with a very poor DC. Steve Sims and Harmon -still too soon for a long-term prediction. But they’re decent WR rookies now. Sims is already a good KR special teams guy. Haskins /Sweat - decent rookie seasons. Haskins has a 121 QB rating in his sixth game. That’s encouraging. Sweat has been slightly discouraging but the whole defense is handicapped by poor coaching. Martin - OL, he had a decent first game. We’ll have to see how he does after the next 2 games. This is a very good rookie class. This is encouraging because the Redskins have not had a good drafting ability in a long time. We’ve had two good drafting seasons in a row. This is because of Kyle Smith - I hope he is promoted to GM. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: The Haskins Threat
Terry is the real deal because he has the speed and quickness to get open, also has great hands.. He's about as sure as it gets IMO

Re: The Haskins Threat
Before the draft Haskins was compared to Jameis and after this rookie season so far I actually see that.. Both are Big guys, Huge arms , can move better than they look and can fir it in tight windows.

Re: The Haskins Threat
Solid draft class so far. Need to take the next step next year. There's a lot of good young pieces here.

Re: The Haskins Threat
"I throw up watching that film," Haskins said on Wednesday, via NBC Sports Washington. "I don't like watching that tape. That's a totally different guy."
"It's just I'm a whole different player than I was back then, and that's just something that I feel watching that tape is not me and it wasn't me out there," Haskins said. "You want to look at it and be like, 'That's what I messed up on,' and move on from it. I don't mind watching it. I just prefer to watch something else." Haskins' shoddy footwork remains an issue, as is his prosperity to walk into sacks, and he owns the lowest passer rating in the NFL among QBs with 150-plus attempts (70.2), but his big arm is NFL-caliber and as he gains rapport with receivers, the light has beginning to gradually fade on. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...hing-that-film Perhaps Im being too nit picky with the young man but youve only started 6 games, this is your rookie year ... you havent proved anything. You are still that same player from 3 months ago. His thought that he has grown so much over 6 starts and doesnt have to study the film to learn from his mistakes is hubris and humorous to me. Hes placing himself ahead of where he really is on the learning curve. He shouldnt be running away from bad film but digesting it and breaking it down. Seems like hed rather watch his good film and try and learn from that. RG3 lite to me.

Re: The Haskins Threat
These last two games are big for DH. Let's hope the upward trend continues. That is all we can hope for right now.

One more reason to love Terry Mac. He said his favorite play of the game was his td-sealing block for Adrian Peterson. Peterson gave him the ball from that td, which also happened to be the one that moved him up to #4 on the all time rushing td list. |
