I can definitely see players being upset with his play. Did you see how Garcon reacted after that atrocious int throw?

Ok here i go...
Smh

From what i saw

... our.o line is.massively average the turds dont have a great D Line... play calling is so up and down jay and sean could open a.fucking elevator company..

Joe barry needs to.be fired who the fuck cares about the players catching up to.a new.scheme at this point... here... do this when this is called... not that hard...

Matt jones is TRYING guys... from what i saw... hes trying man... kirk is getting nervous. But im not writing him off yet at all.. ye of little faith just wait (i hope) cuz its not all on kirk... ever qb misses throws... some are just more noticeable than others...

Breeland and Co. Have no choice but to keep it in front of them when the opposing qb gets all day to throw (thanks coach barry) our d line sucks. And coming out in the 4-3 look is reallt pissing me the fuck off....

Coaches... wake the fuck up... jesus christ... fire barryimmediately PLEASE.

Other than that... NFL refs are absolute fucking hot stinky fucking garbage. Period.

Re: Skins-Cowboys Post Game Thread

5 things we need to win more games (4 are controllable this year):

1. Run the ball more (Gruden/McVay it's not that hard)
2. Call more blitzes/aggressive defensive plays (Barry its not that hard)
3. Score touchdowns in the red zone
4. Hit receivers on deep passes especially if they're wide open
5. Get a new C and more talent in the front 7 on defense (Possibly new QB)

We have a lot of work to do, and hopefully Kirk can shake off the cobwebs and get this thing firing. There is no way we can keep this offensive talent together for too long.

P.S. Was I the only one secretly happy that AlfMo scored? I'm still pissed that we let him go.
Um, if you call yourself a Redskins fan, then YES, you were likely the only one.

Re: Skins-Cowboys Post Game Thread

A game we should have had for sure. Probably three touchdowns that should have been - weren't - plus at least three points we gave up with that end zone INT.

Poor play by KC overall, but for me most of the 'blame' if we have to assign it, goes to the play calling. I haven't looked to see what Jones' average was per carry, but he should have been fed the ball about 15 more times than he was. If there ever was a day to run the ball, today was the day. 1st and goal at the 5 or 6, whatever it was, he should have been given the ball four times if need be...

It only gets harder as we move forward. It's hard to imagine them getting things going on the road after the two clunkers they put on the board at home...but I'm the eternal optimist when it comes to this team, so I can't throw in the towel after week 2.

As far as the defense, I was fairly pleased. They started out slow and gave up a few plays, but made plays when they needed to. This loss was not on the defense at all. Norman is a beast, as much as I want to believe Breeland will turn it around, they will have to look at moving Norman around the field as they did in the second half. Cravens has to be more involved too.

Made plays when they needed to?! With the game on the line they let the Cowboys drive 80 yds down the field for the win. Talk about coming up small when they were needed. This team isnt going anywhere with a D that made a rookie QB and RB look like All Pros.

Not sure if this has been posted already, but here it is:

Redskins players are reportedly complaining about the play of Kirk Cousins - CBSSports.com

It is now only a matter of time before Cousins is sandbagged. They don't want to play with this guy. Once the locker room has turned the season is already over. Willing to bet Cousins and Gruden are not here next year....

Re: Skins-Cowboys Post Game Thread

Idk how accurate that report is.. I haven't seen a player quote yet. Kirk is what he is and the team knew this so idk what they would expect. I still believe he'll have a solid season and he's on pace to have the most yards actually so let's see what we can do.. The schedule looked rough but now as u can see, other teams don't look as great as they were predicted. That game was over yesterday if kirk doesn't throw that int but also the refs on that last drive were fucking horrible and it seemed like they were on the Dallas side obviously.. They gave them 2 15 yard penalties one on 3rd and long!! Fuckin joke. No excuses but cmon

Tough loss. Always easy to point out QB mistakes the day after; and Cousins certainly had a lot of mistakes. That being said, we have a QB who is consistently moving the ball up and down the field. Every time the offense takes the field, I'm fairly confident the Redskins will score. That's the difference between Kirk and the long list of QBs we've had in the past. Hopefully he'll settle down and start making the plays we saw him making last year. A win next week and we're right back in the division discussion.

I agree, KC made a lot of mistakes and IMO plays too "tight" but they scored enough points to win yesterday. 23 points would have won in ten of yesterday's games but the D cant stop anything and that's going to make "easy" games difficult and "hard" games impossible.

Yup, im not giving the D a pass, but we know how limited we are with personnel especially in the front 7. But this game was clearly lost on the offensive side of the ball. Settling for fieldgoals in the red zone, turnover in the end zone, and 3 medium-deep range balls missed for scores killed the team. The game plan, play call, and simple in-game strategy offensively has been poor.

For example, Matt Jones TD run drive in the first half was great...he got in a rhythm with the oline and scored. The defense then caused a 3 and out and the very next drive started with Chris Thompson in the back field for all 3 plays which resulted in a 3 and out. Now please fucking tell me why would take Matt Jones out of that sequence? Right after he had gotten going for the first time all year? fuck sean mcvy and gruden

The Jones thing is puzzling. Do these stupid ass coaches know the hell is going on during the game? Jones should have been right back on the field and they should have went right back to him. As bad as Joe Barry is, (he is nothing but horse feces when it comes to running a defense) I don't understand the rotation there. It made no sense what so ever. If they want to pass the ball so much then give him a screen. If I were Snyder I'd be all up in Gruden's grill this morning.

Re: Skins-Cowboys Post Game Thread

When your best chance to win is to put it all on the arm of a QB that shows nerves and in the past has shown a lack of mental fortitude to bounce back after interceptions, then that's an indictment of your coaching staff.

I'm trying to figure out which area our staff has helped our team play above their talent level and I'm struggling to think of one.

Defense, don't get me started. But even offense. McVay has had decent playcalling games in the past, but it's pretty easy to call plays when you have Reed, Jackson, Garcon, Crowder, and good tackles. The constant fade calls yesterday show a lack of creativity. And the running game was working OK yesterday. Why we ended up so unbalanced is unacceptable.

In what way is this staff making us better?

I'm not normally a fan of owner interference but in this case, yeah. Somebody needs to come down on Gruden because he's doing a fucking shitty job.
