He has been our best corner by far. Hasn't missed many tackles and it seems like the opposing QBs have avoided him.

He might not be elite but he is by far the best we have.

Our other CBs aren't even close to him to be candid.

When we have the depth that we currently have, and a legit starter goes out, it's a huge deal.
I will add this. Maybe I'm not seeing as much as I'd like because they are avoiding his side of the field but I hate the jawing, I hate the penalties he brings, I hate that he reminds me of DHall before he learned to just shut up and play. I think he's bad news. We need him but he wasn't the kind of signing I thought of with Scot.

We need Culliver out there on the worst way. We are so thin all across the roster but especially in the secondary.

Eagles-Redskins to be played this weekend, won't be postponed - CBSSports.com

Looks like they're gonna play it.

Zero excuses for the team to come out look unprepared this weekend. Jay better have his shit together and the team ready at home after a long week. I fully expect a win.

I just want them to look competitive. This year is more about looking competitive. This is not a playoff team. We're still probably looking at 4-5 wins.

I say 7 wins the east is bad and I believe 8-8 gets the job done I just don't see us a 500 team right now. Most likely the Cowboys will take it when romo and dez get back

Re: Looking ahead to the Eagles

Culliver is by far the best corner we have imo. nothing can be set in stone after 2 games but ...

Hes like a more talented Breeland. Aggressive, natural instincts, doesnt find himself out of position too often.

Just hasnt had a int or big play yet. Havent heard his name called a lot for the 2 games he played which is kinda a good thing for corners.

I just worry that his play and the way he throws his body around, he wont last 16 games.

Take georgia ave towards DC and then take a cut over like east west hwy or if your going to capitol heights, just take georgia ave all the way down towards union station/capitol area.

I imagine philly fans will also be coming 95 south so that merge at 495 all the way to Arena drive etc should be avoided.

Re: Looking ahead to the Eagles

I think our offense from the Miami and Rams games is much better suited to win a bad weather game then an Eagles offense that still hasn't found its rhythm.

This is a very winnable game in my view.

I hope our banged up guys can show.

And I think they will be. They were against the Giants. We're just short on talent right now. I'd probably expect Philly to win a close game.

bad breaks, bounces and penalties just killed any rhythm imo.

of course, luck and good bounces take a lot of practice.

the penalties are starting to really piss me off.

playing the what if game for the 1st quarter:

- what if reed wasnt called for PI on that 3rd and 2 on our first drive and the 20 plus yard pass to thompson stood?

- what if we didnt have that off setting penalty on that first punt attempt where jennings was called for contacting the punter, forcing us to replay down and then jennings does block the punt?

imo, its hard to take too much from the Giants game other than:

- cousins was uncharacteristically inaccurate
- jones may have a ball security problem
- ross may be our answer our return man
