I'm no fan of either Shanahan or Snyder, but it sure seems like we're all taking Shanahan's word as gospel suddenly. If Snyder sat down and did a "tell all" would we believe him?

I've always said this about Griffin. He's a track athlete playing football. He just doesn't have QB instincts. You either have that or you don't. They can coach him up all they want, but he'll never be great at the drop back game.

The stuff about Griffin was truthful. I believe him on that. Griffin even mentioned himself about wanting to be like Rodgers.

So one part of what he said about Griffin? Again, I'm not a fan of either, but we're all suddenly so sure he's just letting it all hang out now or just trying to save a little face?

He essentially said he was against every single bad decision the team made, under his command. If that is true, then what the heck was he doing?

Some of it, like Griffin not being all in, seemed true, but it's hard to imagine a head coach helplessly wringing his hands on the sideline while Dr. Andrews and his franchise QB insist on destroying himself.

Still looks like Snyder is a turd.

I think he said it would take five years.

Re: Next years QB

All this said, weather griffin is this, or that, we were a 3-6 team .... That won 7 straight some in dramatic or defensive fashion, the fireworks of 2012 rested on rgs legs and a two read offense that was dual threat and custom to griffin, without wat they designed for him... We may not even have this thread

Re: Next years QB

My question is why now? It has been over a year since he left Washington and now he does a tell all interview.

To me, he comes across as a person that can't take responsibility for his actions.

Bingo.

Mike Shanahan did his share in continuing to f*ck this franchise over. Can't believe some people here believe everything he says or act like he's a f*cking victim. He can go to hell for all I care.

When I listened to the interview I heard MS say that RG could become a pocket QB but it would take awhile so RG had to trust that the coaches were creating an offense that would give the Skins the best chance to win while slowly increasing what RG does as a drop back QB.

Unfortunately for everyone RG didnt trust his coaches to slowly develop him into a pocket QB and we know the rest of the sad story.

Re: Next years QB

Despite the fact that Jay Gruden said that RGIII is the No.1 QB going into next season, I don't think that things will work out for Robert here.
