Minny does have a pretty wicked pass rush.

That's fair enough. I was pointing to the fact that they are #2 in the league in sacks.

As long as we don't call a lot of 7 step drops, we just might whoop up on them.

Similar probably to skins. 10? Sacks vs jags. 5 in Dallas. 6 other games couldnt sniff the qb. Anyhoo lets just kick their ass and take a bye. Go colts, cards, and whoever birds r playing. Cannot believe there is hope?!?!

He'll go for an MRI. Breeland is coming off his best game of his rookie season, when he held Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams to four catches for 52 scoreless yards on eight targets. If Breeland is forced to miss Week 9, Tracy Porter and E.J. Biggers would be the Nos. 2 and 3 corners behind David Amerson.

UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHH

This is big, Im really hoping this is nothing. The fact they want an MRI sux. damn

Isnt that just par for the course? Mothereffer. We should still beat the vikes. Hopefully he is 100% for TB. But isnt that just Redskins bologna? Ofcourse this happened?!?

I'm worried more about RG3's decision making and abilities after a 6 week break than our defense at this point.
I have to agree with this. Our defense hasn't been the issue all season. The issue has been bad offense (turnovers) and bad special teams. If we break even on special teams, are able to move the ball offensively with no turnovers, and convert red zone possessions into TDs then this is a W. If we turn the ball over, settle for FGs in the red zone, or give up big plays in special teams then this is a L.

That simple.

Re: Skins vs. Vikes Pregame Thread

Even if RG3 plays poorly, Gruden has to leave him in there. The coaches need to know what they have by the end of the season. Plus you don't need a QB controversy.

There are a few articles discussing this over the past weeks, and blame goes to Alf Morris not seeing holes, O-line not making blocks (guards/RT messing up), poor TE and WR blocking, and perhaps lack of RG3 threat to run.... There were a handful of good runs last game, but most were stopped at line of scrimmage.

I'm hoping that RG3 coming back will help. But I wonder whether S.Long or M.Moses will be any good this year (or just false hope), and I wonder whether getting Redd more carries could help as well.. (Don't see Helu as an every down back, but he catches well.)

Seeing the gaping holes the Dallas line was creating for Murray made me envious. It seemed pretty stupid of Dallas last game to abandon their power running game to let their hobbled QB lose the game for them.
In the Tennessee game,Gannon the commentator mentioned more than once about the tight ends and especially receivers whiffing on blocks and being no help in the running game

Clifton Geathers released and Philip Thomas brought up from the PS. Hopefully he can stay healthy. We need the help at safety.

Not buying into the dream just yet....

Vikings 20
Redskins 17

They did beat us last year with Griffin playing his best game of the season

Re: Skins vs. Vikes Pregame Thread

Seems like we struggle to defend against mobile QBs which is fucking enfuriorating since the defense has practiced against one since 2012. If Bridgewater has a great game it'll be tough to win tomorrow.
