That Kurzweil website has some of the coolest science articles. Definitely a website that should be bookmarked.

Agreed! Which is why I find both science and the history of religion fascinating.

NASA's biggest rover is set to land on Mars in August.
Mars Rover Landing Set For August 5, NASA's 'Curiosity' Team Says Thought I'd add a picture from one of Mars rover that was just taken recently.

These pictures that have come out of Mars are mind blowing.

No, no you don't.
That would be a red super giant star. Now, if you masquerade as the Human Torch, I'll allow this. :FIREdevil

I'm pretty sure that the nature of visuals should imply that stars dont like to be judged by their mass. VY Canis Majoris picks fights on Mu Cephai all day.

Re: All things Science related. λν = c
Popular Science:
Soldiers scanning the battlefield for threats may soon get a new tool: a brain-scanning set of binoculars that can pick up on a soldier’s unconscious recognition of a potential threat and bring it to his conscious attention. It’s just one of many ways DARPA and other military research groups are looking to have soldiers mind-meld with their machines and materiel, and it demonstrates how remarkably close we are to deploying mind-control on the battlefield. Ah, technology! What could possibly go wrong? |
