They cant score man and that passing offense is worse that ours.. Yeah they have a big time D but I just don't see anything scary about SF.. Gore is great but getting older, they are having a great season but lets see if they do again next year.. Miami went 11-5 a few years back too

I'm not sure that you've seen our passing offense lately.

Yet they beat Cincy in Cincy, Philly in Philly,Detroit in Detroit, Giants, barely lost to cowboys. They will be a threat in the playoffs especially if they get a home game. By the way, I despise the 49ers.

LOL Unfortunately I have but still SF ranks like 29th in passing? Thats a 1 dimensional team, they have won some close games that have bounced their way. Again lets see if they will do this next yr

They're simplistic because they have to be, but they're pretty good at passing.

It's not where they rank, it's what they do with their passing game. Sure it didn't work tonight, but Smith had 13 Tds and only 4 picks and nearly 2000 yds going into tonight's game. Plus he can make some serious plays with his feet. Sure they're a run first/defensive ball club, but Smith has done what's asked of him very well this season.

I understand but again thats 1 season, JC had a very good year for us a few years back, think it was like 23 Tds to 10 ints or something. Smith is what he is, a bust thats having a decent yr but he won't continue to keep it up. I give them props 9-1 start is amazing but I still see 1 and done

The 49ers were suppposed to be this run heavy team with a good OL and running game. They were reduced to looking like the Bears or Redskins Oline of the past couple of years.

Not only that, but some of the sacks Smith took were easily avoidable. He was out of the pocket on a couple of them and thus could have thrown those balls away.

Yeah, that explanation was pretty weak. They should suspend him two games just to let this guy know it's not tolerated.
This is the same guy that tried to rip Jake Delhomme's head off in a preseason game.

When you lose one of your best G (Snyder) just like when we lost Lichsteiger the OL goes to shit.

Baltimore averaged 2.9 sacks a game before this game. 9 sacks is triple that. Hell, even JC in 2008 was sacked only twice against the Ravens. Losing an OL definitely can wreak the OL, but 9 sacks in a game is a rarity no matter what. And there were a couple sacks Smith certainly could have avoided.

The Bills had 10 against us the game after losing Lichtsteiger, the 49ers lost Snyder in the 2nd qtr.

Smith already got sacked twice in the first quarter. His third came at 14:46 in the second quarter.

Beck was extremely hesitant in that game. That hesitation was a bigger reason behind the 10 sacks than the loss of Lichtensteiger.
