Maybe that's where he's hearing it from. I can't imagine I'm the first person (only person?) to speculate Britt. It's known that the Titans are a bit frustrated with him, probably not to the point they'd trade him though.

Hell, trade AH for the 6th or 7th round pick and Britt and cut R.Williams. Make the trade with the Charger for VJax. It would be nice to have Moss, Britt, and VJax. but... I'm sure the Chargers would want someone to replace VJax... do you all think possibly the Titans get AH, the Skins get VJax and the Chargers get Britt and later round pick in next yrs draft? That way the Titans get what they want, the Skins get a decent WR, and the Chargers get a decent replacement WR plus a late round draft pick?

The Chargers are pretty set at WR. AJ Smith is not trading Jackson.

Chargers have said they are "set" at WR. Floyd, NeNeee, and Crayton. Add Gates in the picture and they are fine

I agree with you 100% but even AH him self said after last yr he had to go and get in better shape. He wanted to come back and be a beast. He came back and looked as bad or worse. Simply look at the Cardinals game. He looked really bad. If I didn't know better I'd say he's old and useless or past his prime and needs to retire, but "if" he can get back in to playing shape and last 4 quarters then good for him.

I just think this was his plan all along ... come back out of shape and force the team to move him.

If we trade Fal Al for Britt,we wouldn't be required to do anything...still at 53 man roster...

Question is...do they bring up (OLB/DE)Rob Jackson from the practice squad?
Or just stay with the 7 man rotation they would have?
or sign a D-lineman for the 3-4 in free agency then release Roydel?

But if they make the trade and like the roster as is...they don't have to do anything and leave it as is..as we carry 6 WR's..

You don't play well, you sit and watch your value, UFA contracts, and glory disappear as other hungry to play step up.

If AH can't get with the program, Keyshawn his ass. Not like we're going to get our money's worth outta him.

Here here. Fine him, suspend him....do whatever you can get away with.

We weren't trying to trade AH all offseason either. I think if the right offer comes a long teams listen. Maybe he won't be traded. Maybe he will.

If it's just us trading with the Titans then the Titans definitly need to sweeten the pot. I don't know much about Britt but he doesn't seem to be a top tier WR and here we would be supposedly giving the Titans a top tier DE.

This whole saga has to be one of the most mismanaged player/personnel situations in recent NFL history. I can't remember anything like it.

Just wondering, where is it coming from that the titans are upset with Britt? Id like to think I'm very up to date on football news, but this is the first I'm hearing about this. btw, I would take Britt for Haynesworth straight up. I don't think we can do much better considering that he was being shopped around for a 3rd a few months ago before everyone knew how out of shape he is. I dont see why the market would go up from there.

We were ready to unload AH in the McNabb deal... he's been on the block ever since Shanahan got here.

The only breaking news here is that we have another BHA in the house in the form of aceinthehouse.

I feel the same way. Late in the season when injuries set in, as they always do and we need a stout difference maker on the D line to collaspe the pocket in a critical 3rd down pass play, we might live to regret dumping him. I am not talking about a big body to clog the middle. Hayensworth fills that role, non of of other DL can run over another top OL.
I want us to be careful not become Vinny Cerrato-like having a million WR's thinking a young WR is the magic pill that will solve all of our problems and no depth at other positions.
