Great analysis by those guys. Seemed like there were more wrinkles thrown into the offense too. A rollout, some good screens, some throws to DT, etc. Who knows, how much a difference it was though. |

Gruden just might be my favorite analyst now. He's got a bright future in the booth. But he's going to look good in B&G.

Re: Sherman Lewis, what was his effect
I thought the playcalling was much improved. Some good plays though our o-line played poorly especially Heyer. Rabach stunk up the joint with his 2 mis-snaps and JC, well, I'm glad he will be gone by the year's end.
I like the shotgun formation with both Betts and Rock. Fred Davis played well last night showing good hands though he needs to work on his pass protection. Sherm Lewis mixing things up did keep the D on their toes though our offense showed little passion and urgency. I think Zorn is doing a poor job of getting the offense fired up. Maybe its because JC always shows no emotion that the whole offense just go through the motions.

Season is over. Nothing left to save worth killing yourself or getting hurt. These guys rolled over weeks ago and still are rolling. Sense of Urgency, I love that phrase. You won't see it with these guys.

Re: Sherman Lewis, what was his effect
Hall never got a chance, it went out. Moss scored last year with the same shoddy blocking and came close to breaking another one. He just falls to his side easier than ARE now.

Re: Sherman Lewis, what was his effect
One more point to add to my bountiful posts
The 2nd pass to Davis in the end zone looked to be directed towards Davis.. even though the first pass was behind him (he did manage to get both hands on it though), I can't see Zorn going back to Davis on the next down, whether it was a different play or not I think that's one thing that we see being a difference between the two |

and I think that I mentioned it before but there'd be about a -45% chance that Zorn would've run the same play on the botched snap, the one that Thomas scored on.. yet thomas was open again |
