While I can appreciate his legendary status, I think his inability to conform to the times did him in. Collinsworth will be OK, I guess, but I was looking for a much flashier signing, like Prime Time. |

I think the hate towards CC comes from how he comes off a little pompous, he's the anti-Madden. And I honestly don't see where he's that knowledgeable or where he brings anything groundbreaking to the broadcast booth. I'm sure he'll be alright, I don't watch the games for who's in the booth, but given a choice I'd rather have Madden. |
