I'm with ya, just wanted to state the facts as I see them. Damn shame I didn't catch your sarcasm, see Joe is the man. I knew you would see the light. Joe's also proubally to busy tonight to catch this post, maybe next time?
Haha, yeah, but I like to think that somewhere Gibbs is reading this on his trio and thinking thats the spirit skinsfan.

But for me I just get sick of posts like this. Not that I disagree with it, but we all know what the problems with this team are and have been. The Post's reporting last year was, in my opinion, excellent in diagnosing exactly what went wrong.

So I just get tired of having to read someone's manifesto every other day rehashing these same arguments.

And that brings me to my final point - if you want to write the latest such manifesto, fine, but dont title it why are we giving gibbs a pass when he gets ripped to shreds on this site basically every day. That is ridiculous.

I'd rather it be him doing it than some unproven coach.
Good point.

That was my initial response to the thread from the get go.
Tired of seeing the same Joe Gibbs doesn't have it anymore threads over and over.

I'm on the GIBBS ban wagon all the way, if anyone can turn this thing around from last years woes, he's the man PERIOD

It's times like these you never under estimate Coach Gibbs, he'll make you look like a fool.

I hope your right ....maybe he is reading this laughing his buttoff, because he darn sure has the spirit!

I guess we shall see...I love Gibbs like the next fan BUT, I refuse to drink his Kool-aide after 5 years as I am sure that most of you won't either.

It isn't about drinking the kool-aide. All of us staunch supporters of Gibbs have all said that he has made mistakes, and even Gibbs has recognized that. It's trial and error...which is why I said he is still trying to figure it out. But, you have to also realize that this team needed more than a coach who is good with X's and O's, it needed someone who would reorganize the team from top to bottom. I believe Gibbs is in the process of doing that, but it doesn't always reflect in the scoreboard or games won and lost. He is paying attention to the fine details that all of us fans don't have access to nor do we pay attention to.

I will agree, however, that it will be a big disappointment if we fail to reach the playoffs this year. However, I will guarantee you that at the very least, the Redskins will win more games than they lose this season.

Well its always the easy and sexy pick to go around 8-8. That is what everyone says. Be bold.

6-10 and lower or 10-6 and higher? Pick one section.

12-4 If Cambell is healthy the whole year. 4-12 If Brunell has to play!

haha ok so i hope brunell isnt playing, i guess my game wasnt accounting for that. For simplicity lets make the assumption that Campbell takes all the snaps. (Main concern should be the D and if Al's offense is working)

6-10 and lower or 10-6 and higher?

10-6, with us going 11-5 the year after that. By then, Campbell will be a pro bowl material...
