The buck stops with him. The guy should be coaching and not making personel moves.

Bottom line is they blew it. Now the question is can he pick up his play and his attitude? I think he gets one more year to prove himself.
It was the WaPo end of season article that attributed Saunders' infatuation with Lloyd to us trading for him.

If he plays well as the third receiver, I'll be happy. Right now, I don't think he deserves a roster spot, but we can't afford to cut him anymore.

WR David Patten (released; post-June 1 designation).
FOX Sports - NFL - Washington Redskins Team Report

I'm not sure if anyone found out about this before, but foxsports is saying that Patten was a June 1st cut, so his cap hit is different.

nice find, that makes sense since they waited this long to cut him. So basically it's not official till 6/1?

I'd give Lloyd one more season, and if he doesn't offer a good option as a complimentary role opposite Santana Moss, then as a real estate agent, I will personally offer my services to help ship his ass outta town.
I'm past ready to throw him off the train.......I was thinking along the lines of under the train!

One way ticket outta DC

It has been official. You are allowed to cut players now before June 1st and designate them as a June 1st cut. So now the player doesn't get screwed over when they get cut 3 months before the season. They can find a team earlier now.
