Backrow mentioned his first two seasons. Anyhow, here's how I rank the fortunate events that led to last year's playoff run: 1. Antonio Brown's punt return for the TD in Arizona. If he doesn't make it, we lose - no playoffs. 2. Bad opponents at just the right time -- Rams, Eagles without their starting QBs and Philly without Brian Westbrook. 3. Exceptional defense 4. Portis By the way, with Portis and all his yards, the Redskins are 18-21 since '04. Whoopee. |

18-21 with Portis since his career began in Washinton, and this franchise is headed in the wrong direction.
Is that worth a $50 million contract and a 2nd round choice? |
