Re: Official Game Thread: Redskins at Eagles

Anyone notice that Gibbs is not playing so safely this year? We're going for it on 4th down a lot, going for TDs instead of always kicking FGs (even with a good kicker, no Novak or Hall anymore) and we're letting Campbell go deep. I love it. We had so many close losses in the last 2 seasons and if we had taken more chances, we might've won more games. Gibbs is going for wins more aggressively this year.

CP was going to throw a pass last night too, but pulled it down and ran for about 10 yards. I know we've run that play in the past, but it's nice to see it still being used.

Yeah, well what do you expect. People thought the Saints were going to be good again. That's how it is always going to be they are always going to pick who would be LAST YEAR'S winner.

Wow, are you serious they really egged our bus? I mean I knew Philly was really low class but that is border line shocking.

Yeah, he was going to pass it, but pulled it down and ran instead.

It's not shocking at all for Filthydelphia.

I hate being two people removed from the source. But a skin fan buddy of mine at the bar, heard it on WTOP as he was driving to the bar.

Re: Official Game Thread: Redskins at Eagles

Am I the only one wondering this, but in the 4th quarter when our D was being tested a bit, mcnabb was running towards the line of scrimage. And it looked like he was going to take-off and run for the first down, but then he shovel passes to a receiver for a nice pick-up to keep the drive alive. Did it seem like he was dangerously OVER the line of scrimage? I found it funny that none of the play-by-play guys even commented about it. It seemed that they were too busy riding the jocks of the eagles.
