Re: GAMEDAY THREAD … Let’s Go!

The line and Wentz are not helping each other right now. But Wentz doesn't seem to have any feel for the game at all. He throws late, early, high and I think some of it is he has the jitters cause of the line. Forget pocket presence, he doesn't seem have presence.

He's an unrealistic dumb fuck throwing the OL under the bus. Everyone can see Wentz is the problem, it's his fucking ego. Next week Tennessee will kill Wentz, I guess an injury to Wentz it's the best hope for this team.

If Robinson comes back next week, he will help the OL. Wentz is not fixable.

Re: GAMEDAY THREAD … Let’s Go!

One thing about Taylor is he at least has a feel for the game and can escape better than Wentz. I am not playing Howell under any circumstances until perhaps a few games left in the year. Putting him in this early is clearly a give up, wave the white flag sign. You can't do that to your vets that are trying to win games. I think the players do have confidence in the noodle. He has played several good games.

Gibson would still get most reps given how he has performed the first 4 games.

I would give Heinecken a chance, anyone but Wentz

Nope, Wentz isn't. One thing that RG3 said is he is a space thrower and I agree 100%. He can't have guys around him, he needs a clean pocket to throw the ball w/ accuracy.

Exactly! That's who he is at this juncture of his career.

Im with NC. I like Levis out of Kentucky. Would take him over Young and definitely over Stroud. OSU quarterbacks just do not translate in the pros. And every year is the guy who is finally a cant miss and he misses.

If Turner calls a game like today where everything is within 5 yards of LOS go for it, but you aren't winning with Heinicke either so it is a moot point.

Re: GAMEDAY THREAD … Let’s Go!

Heinicke's "noodle arm" damn near got this team top .500 last year and beat the defending Super Bowl champions. Not to mention that "noodle arm" played TB the hardest in the 2020 playoffs on their Super Bowl run on how much notice?

Wentz's "strong arm" has not translated into anything meaningful with a 1-3 start and Scary Terry is not getting the ball. But go ahead and bash TH and his tiny contract and results while saying Wentz and all his contract are 1-3, and he has thrown for a few yards. Wentz is arse. Heinicke may not be the final answer, but he is a hell of a lot better option than that Ginger Stiff you have taking snaps now for multiples of the cost of TH.

+1

I'm fine with letting Howell redshirt this year, there is a reason he was a late-round draft pick.

If Wentz has to be benched, this year is a waste anyways. Let Heinicke get us a good draft pick and if he sucks again this year then play Howell a few games at the end of the year.

Some of ya'll act like throwing a 5th round rookie pick in at qb behind a shitty offensive line is a great way to determine if he's worth building around. Not everybody is ready to play their first year in the NFL.
