Re: The Bad News Thread
Wow, sorry hear that. I had a coworker wife pass away suddenly several year ago…she was a health nut and just dropped dead…the absolute shock I felt for a couple weeks really put a lot into perspective.

Sorry. Especially since it seems like you got along with him. If my boss dropped dead it might be posted in the good news thread. Joking - but she is a really awful person and I definitely wouldn’t post it in the bad news thread. |

Not everyone is as fortunate as Hamlin when this happens. Crazy. Only 25 years old.

Just read an article about a healthy 13 year old girl who complained of a headache, died a few hours later from undiagnosed luekiemia that the doctors said the family had no chance of suspecting/knowing about. Hurts hard seeing anyone under 25 pass away. "Enjoy yourself, its later than you think"

These fires are nuts. I don’t ever remember air like this for so long.
Took this picture today. There is no filter. It looks like Tatooine! I feel so bad for the animals too. Hundreds of fires up there. There is ash on our cars in Jersey from it. Nuts. Come on rain! |

Re: The Bad News Thread
My ex/now one of my best friends, Christina, who I moved to South Carolina with, is just absolutely going through the ringer right now. A couple months ago, she was laid off from her job of 15 years completely out of the blue (like hey you don't have a job tomorrow) and now she is going through some sort of health issue. So now she is moving back to CA to live with her family. She's basically had no energy for about 3 or 4 weeks. For some reason she's too stubborn to go to the doctor until she's back in CA. But that isn't until the end of the month. So, I don't have any idea what is wrong, but it has to be something pretty bad and potentially permanently life altering.
She could use as many prayers as she can get. Life is just not good for her right now. Can't imagine being in her position right now.
