If Fat Albert cant get on board the Redskins Team concept train. SCREW EM...I like Haynesworth as a player but, weve gotta have a good team atmosphere....
If the Rams offer Carriker and thier 2nd Round pick, Id jump all over it..... Im sure a good 3-4 OLB or ILB would be avaliable early in the 2nd!!!! |

Don't have truly reliable information on this yet but Willie Colon is about to sign his RFA tender with the Steelers and there are some rumors that we are targeting him. Steelers supposedly looking to ship him out even more so than before due to his association with the infamous Milledgeville night. Carlos Rogers could be part of this deal
Again, really preliminary rumor. I usually wouldn't post without more confirmation, but why the heck not

I would think RT. I honestly don't know enough about Colon to make any assessment. Rogers is a guy that I expected they wouldn't truly actively shop going into the off-season. But that's actually not been the case at all. If anything, he's been shopped more than anyone (save for maybe Landry).

Wow, I wasn't expecting to see a pic like that until preseason.

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
i agree with tryfhul - this is the sort of stuff i love seeing, SmootSmack. i'd rather read your rumors than anyone elses. I don't really have an opinion on Colon, but the Steelers offense couldnt be any more dissimilar from ours. Add to that the fact that their line really hasnt been that good, and I dont know how i feel about it. I'm not sure if Colon was part of the problem in Pittsburg or the one shining spot, but if theyre eager to move him, its not a good sign.
Rogers may have bad hands, but he's a heck of a corner otherwise. if we did the trade, i'd expect them to throw something else in to sweeten the pot. An above average starting cornerback >> a servicable RT.

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
Colon's been one of the better RTs in the league the past couple of years.. anyone who hates the musical bookends we've been having should be praying that this happens
4 years in the league, 3 year starter - all 16 games each of those 3 years Colon has surpassed the "serviceable" mark lol.. if there's anything extra thrown in it will probably be from our side, though if they're looking to move him like Holmes due to the nightclub thing it's not likely that we would |
