7-9
We're gonna lose to San Diego, St. Louis, Dallas and New York. We're gonna HOPEFULLY beat Arizonia and Philly. Course Arizonia is an away game.... |

Re: Skins final record will be...
I'm playing the numbers. We've played 10 games......we're 5-5........simple math says 8-8 is in the future.
I just don't see any reason to be optomistic anymore. This team hasn't shown me any reason to believe we can win over half our games or to think that we are a playoff team. We're inconsistent, we're the worst team in the NFL in turnover margin at -13 (tied with the Saints actually), the defense isn't nearly as good as it was last year, we can't get pressure on the QB for anything, the offense is moderately better overall but so inconsistent that you just can't count on it, ........ I could go on but why bother. I'm pessimistic but there's no reason to bring anyone else down with me.

Re: Skins final record will be...
I'm betting on 9-7. I think this team realizes that it's real near do or die at this point. We're 1 game in front of the TOless, McNabbless Eagles and 2 games behind both Dallas and NYG. Even though 8 of our 10 games were close and could have gone either way. We're 5-5, so unfortunate. Don't know if we can lose more than 1 more game and make playoffs and at 9-7, atleast at this point it appears a longshot. Perhaps we can get a wildcard at 9-7 but that'll almost certainly come down to tiebreakers. We go 10-6 we are in we go 9-7 I think there's a 50/50 chance we get in. I'm betting 9-7 and hoping and praying we get in by the skin of our teeth.

Re: Skins final record will be...
I'm saying 8-8. We have no receiving threat on the outside, other than Santana Moss. When there is only one threat it becomes very easy to take Moss away. Which will take away our big plays.
The only good side of that is at least there is ONE wideout defenses have to worry about. Which hopefully means Portis can still find enough room for 4.5 yards per carry. So he can keep the offense going a little, and Cooley can still move some chains. But I think we're going to be missing big plays from now on, which means we'll have to mount more long sustained drives to win games. And you know what that means... there's even less margin for error when it comes to turnovers. If we finish 8-8, in my book that means we went 10-6. The Denver game and the Tampa game were both wins. The refs just didn't see it that way. |

Cooley has been such a clutch player though. He deserves to be in the Pro-Bowl. |

Re: Skins final record will be...
really we are not losing any division games, why you may ask, because they are division games and i know we can beat both the gints and cowgirls at home and eagles will be fine at eagles. IF we win our next three it gives us a cusion but if we lose one i still say we are not eliminated. EVEN IF WE LOSE SUNDAY!!!?!?!?!!!
10-6, i haven't deviated from that from the beginning of the year |

Right now our offense is strategically limited by the fact that no WR opposite Moss can step up and become a threat. |

Eagles will be weaker and we have already beat them once, with McChoke on IR and Brown joining him i see this as a week team that WILL lose to my man farve this week. THe Giants owned us last time but i know that wasn't our team playing, we aren't that bad. This game at home gives us a chance, winning both cowboys and giants will be extremely tough but we are in a Tough situation, that doesn't mean there is absolutly no hope. If we win all of our division games no way we do not make the playoffs yes that is tough, expecially looking at them together but individually we can win any of these games. Toughest game left is sunday |

What makes you believe that we can go 3-0 against the NFC East? How is that going to happen? Do you think the other teams are just going to roll over for us, or do we actually need a plan. That's the problem. We are strategically limited right now, and that's why our shot at anything better than 8-8 is rather limited. Our big-play dimension has been neutralized, and our defense isn't opportunistic enough to make up the difference. I'm not asking for hopes and dreams. I'm asking for ways and means. |
