Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
How was Ramsey's play against the Bears? 1 INT, 1 lost fumble, and 1 nearly lost fumble I'm I right? And that's all in 1 quarter of football! I think I'll take the switch now than in week 6.

Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
Gibbs hates Ramsey, nothing could be clearer. like LadyT said, he gave Brunell the entire important part of a season to show something, which he ruined, and he gave Ramsey three drives???
i dont like this one bit, it has to be something personal and i'm really surprised at Gibbs. |

Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
WTF has ramsey done? his best games were under spurriers system. he cant read defences. he cant move in the pocket. he is still making the same mistakes.
gibbs doesnt think ramsey can play. thats why he brought in brunell, and campbell and is benching PR after 1 game. i think brunell has lost his arm but he can read defences and make good decision. but, i think the best move is to go with campbell. might as well give the guy some playing time. its clear to me that ramsey is a cry baby. he didnt lose his job because he got injured, he lost it because he sucked all preseason and made bad decision in the 2 qtrs he played. he has no right to ask for a trade. he has done nothing for the skins but cash their checks. so... How about that ade jimoh hit? |

Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
did everyone forget ALL OF LAST SEASON?? everyone was BEGGING for Ramsey, and now because of a couple pre-season games, we want the disaster of last season? if that's the case then we are WORSE than Philly fans. i have never witnessed such a fan 180 as i have now with people booing Ramsey on the first game. it's shameful.
i cannot believe a bum hamstring was the sole cause for all of Brunell's bad THROWS last season, and even if it was, WHY WAS HE PLAYING? i'm shocked and horrified at the fickleness of our fans and frankly our coach. |

Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
Anyone missing the part where Ramsey got bounced off the turf? Not benched, injured.

Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
quit questoning Gibbs , you critics, who call yourselves skins fans will never be the poop that is wiped off of gibbs' ass. Let the legendary Coach do what he came her to do. He didnt ask for Ramsey, he was a left over from a coach who was a complete disaster for us. Brunell looks ALOT better than last year, and good enough to win games for us. It wasnt just Brunell last year. i cant believe no one has mentioned this yet... Our wr's sucked, look at Moss after the catch than coles, thats why coles was brought here, and never amounted to shit, especially after the catch yardage. Then you look at our running game last year with missing important right tackle, you know who.... and having shit for centers...and oh yeah, our 50 gut runs and counter treys with a 210 lb running back. Ummmm you think its all Brunells falt last season? I admit, he doesnt have the deep touch, but if you look at the midrange vs ramsey, its better. its better we dont have to watch ramsey make two great throws to blow it 70% of the time. its better we dont have a guy who will tuck and duck every time there is pressure or just throw a pic. brunell can leave the pocket and make a play or throw it away. brunell has grown more comfortable in this offense whether you like it or not. NO, he's not our future, and now we pretty much know..even if ramsey stays the whole season that he is not either. thanks im out

Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
Shocked is really the word for it and Gibbs making this call. Gibbs has never ever praised Ramsey, even when Brunell struggled and Ramsey came in and made some plays in the end of the season and into this year Gibbs never ever praised Ramsey like he has Brunell like he is nursing him. Even when Ramsey did good somehow Gibbs threw in a comment to praise Brunell. I would be like where the hell did that comment come from Ramsey jus twon the game and Brunell had a clipboard. Just crazy, How can anyone say Gibbs has been honest about this situation with the short leash he had 3 drives in the regular season and you've seen enough. It took eight games to see Brunell sucked and cost us games and the way the NFC went to shit last year a possible playoff birth.

If Gibbs had no confidence in Ramsey he should have traded him the year we picked up Brunell or this offseason. To go all offseason and say that Ramsey was to be the starter only to yank him after a 1 1/4 quarters is ridiculuous. Yet another wasted first round pick, and we still don't know if had the talent to do the job...looks like Trent Green all over again to me. |

or you could prove you're a fan and pay me $50. But if you don't you're not worth "the poop on gibbs ass" and were never really a fan. Great logic, eh? |

Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
Ramsey threw for more yards in 1 quarter than Brunell did the rest of the game. I'm PISSED at this decision, I think its a bad one. I'm glad Ramsey wants to be traded, he couldnt be treated more unfarily right now. How is he supposed to react when Gibbs stuck with Brunells POOR ass for like 10 weeks last season, and benches Ramsey after a FREAKING quarter. This is freaking bullcrap. Thats all I can really say so far cause I havent had time to read through the posts/news so I dont totaly know whats going on, just got home form the game.
