Naturally, he's not interested in any of that. Not now at least

Also...how would you all feel about Jacoby Jones?
I think the $4 million saved is probably already mostly spoken for. I still didn't hear what kind of deal Fletcher got, then we picked up Goff. Most of that $4 million saved will be used up by the rookie pool, methinks.

But there's still probably room to pick up Jacoby Jones if we wanted. He's not costly.

Re: Jabar Gaffney Released

He did a nice job last year, but he's moving on to his 5th team for a reason. I wish him luck.

I'm counting Paul as TE.

Speaking of: Davis, Cooley, Paulsen, and Paul at TE?

He was a solid player but clearly a stop-gap at best. Good luck to him.

On the other hand when you bring in two free agents and get a highly ranked prospect back from injury, somebody's gotta go and we have cap issues.

Good luck wherever you go Jabar, you played well here.

That is like saying he was the tallest dwarf.

The Skins passing attack in 2011 was miserable. A lot of that came from the QB competencies - - or lack thereof. A good enough part of that came from the fact that the Skins' WRs - - every last one of them - - was mediocre at the very best.

If you want to anoint Gaffney as "the best of the mediocre lot", fine. But do not get carried away and think that he is a valuable property as an NFL WR.

Yeah I'm sure we'll use that $4 million toward the $7 million rookie pool

Don't know what we got Goff for or what Hightower may want, or even what we got Rackers for. I think I posted Fletcher's numbers here. Can't remember though. Think it was around 5 years 10 million (2 years guaranteed). 5 million guaranteed

Ok so Gaffney is released, who do they sign to take his place or atleast who do they sign to take his place on the roster if not another WR?

That's actually kind of a big deal.

I would not be happy with Jacoby,he's not an upgrade over Jabar.Being in Houston I've seen more of Jacoby then I want to.He occasionally has a good return, that's about all he's good for
