I am impressed with what the Eagles FO has done in the last couple of years. They are the NFC version of New England. They get draft pick after draft pick all while picking up serious talent. Getting a 2nd rounder and DOmnique Cromartie for Kolb.

Really, we are just fortunate that Andy Reid is a dipshit when it comes to play calling and horrible at clock management. Otherwise, he'd probably have a few SB rings by now.

I think over time this will end up being a good thing for this franchise, that we didn't sign him, but you can't help but think of how much better the Eagles just got.

I guess I'm just going to console myself by saying we are on the rebuilding path this year, and that's what we need to be content doing so that we can be better in the long run. The moves that we've made this offseason indicate we're not gearing up for a run in the short term, like the Eagles are. So let them contend this year, hopefully they'll end up failing.

Really well articulated and I agree on all fronts. They did what was right for them, we're doing what's right for us. They'll be better this year.

But hopefully we'll be just good enough to spoil their party a bit. I'd love to see us steal a couple from them and make them go on the road to Lambeau or Atlanta.
