Re: Larry, Sonny, and Sam- the radio trio must go
I've never had a big problem with Joey T. myself, he would be an upgrade over S&S.

On a side note does Sonny still hate Theismann's guts? Would be interesting if JT was hired to replace Huff.

I dont think Sam is very good but I think Sonny has some decent insights because he talks to a lot of players. |

Personally, I'd like to see Doc Walker and maybe --big maybe-- BMitch give it a shot. But Joey T. would do a good job for sure.

I would keep Larry Michael and Sonny and replace Sam Huff with Doc Walker. |

Re: Larry, Sonny, and Sam- the radio trio must go
If the Skins look to make a change in the radio booth I for one would greatly prefer that they use a "two-man booth" and not a "three-man booth".
Sonny is still good with his analysis; Sam and Larry are just awful - - and have been awful for at least the last 5 years. Hey, I have an idea. Hire Vinny Cerrato to do the color commentary. He has experience doing radio...

I heard Darryl do the sideline reporting for us one year (in the preseason) and from what I remember, he wasn't that good. Smootsmack will probably agree What about Ken Harvey? |

Sonny_J is a keeper, nobody really understands the Redskins Organization better.
Sam Huff, while a cherished Alum, has more negatives than positives. It would be great to have Joe Bugel or Richie Petibone try a guest appearance with Sonny - it would be entertaining. Larry Michael is no Frank Herzog when it comes to play-by-play. |

Re: Larry, Sonny, and Sam- the radio trio must go
There is an app for the iPAD (iRadio or something like that) that allows you to listen to Sonny and Sam and to slow down their broadcast to match it with HD cable. It works great until the first radio commercial. For some dumb reason everytime Sonny and Sam go to commercial they change their timing. Sometimes faster sometimes slower, but you have to resynch. If their crack technical team wouldn't do this we could easily "turn down the TV and watch the game and listen to Sonny and Sam". I still think they are better than many of the announcers we get on TV for the games.
