Re: Redskins
Going back and looking at it, I can agree, but I'm talking about the lists with A. Johnson, Lee, Matthews, etc.. Some of those had nothing to do with hard hits, c'mon now...

Agreed, I already made that point earlier in the thread.

Re: Redskins 2010 Body Count
I said some of the players were probably not our fault.
But I really don't care if they got hurt by our players or not, the fact is after our games they are hurt. Yes I too feel it's bad ju ju and all I wanted was to keep a record of who gets hurt from each team we play. I also didn't want to get into calling out players of up coming games cause then it sounds like we are asking for them to be hit or calling for other teams players heads. |

Re: Redskins 2010 Body Count
If they get hurt in a game against the Redskins it counts. I don't care if they trip and fall during warm-ups...it counts. Injuries can be incremental. For all you know Mathews got hurt because Brown pushed his ass down several times as he was going fast at a low angle.

Re: Redskins
I'm sure every team has injuries after every game. I wonder how many fanbases are trying to boost the physicality of their defense with bogus injuries that had nothing to do with a hit. Too bad we can't brag about having a good D. Whatever floats their boats...

Re: Redskins
I agree. But if they tripped and fell and got hurt, how would that count as the Skins D "body bagging" that player? Vick... the D PUT him out of the game, but many players on our "supposed" body count list are over-exaggerated.

Re: Redskins 2010 Body Count
The thing that sucks is we are making it easier for our NFC east rivals. I would much rather be in Dallas or Filthy shoes and play the Colts without Clark, Collie and a banged up Addai. Knocking them out will hurt us in the long run.

Re: Redskins 2010 Body Count
^^I thought about that earlier! I also hope the Giants and the Girls get to play GB with a healthy Mathews!
I feel the same about the Colts. We made those games easier fpr the Eagles and Giants. Hell the Eagles get to play the Titans without Vince Y. It will make the game much easier for them.

Re: Redskins 2010 Body Count
I wanna believe Haslett's fiery style has something to do w/ our D's penchant for laying the wood. While his scheme is suspect there's no doubt Haslett has found a way to motivate his group!!!

Re: Redskins 2010 Body Count
Yup. Your post is exactly what I came on here to say. Yes, we're looking like a physical team for sure. And that's great and all, but given how snake-bitten we've been by the injury bug in recent years coupled with our current lack of depth, I find it very bad karma to be applauding all the injuries we've "caused" during the first 6 weeks.
Injuries are the ultimate wildcard in the NFL. The Redskins have been fortunate thus far. Let's hope we keep avoiding major ones. In the meantime I will certainly not applaud the injuries opposing players have suffered during our matchups. Like you said, that's baaaaaad ju-ju.

Re: Redskins 2010 Body Count
We havent been completely un scathed by the injury bug.
We lost CP, Rocky Mac in the last game, Cooley in the last quarter of the Colts game, Trent and Jamaal were lost at differents points, and Trent missed the Rams game. We have had our share just not season ending ones. So our luck is about the same as the teams we are playing. I just have to ask all of you bad juju guys, what do fans of the Pats and Steelers post on their boards? Are their fans so worried about JUJU or just worried about who they are going to beat in the coming weeks? It is not so much about the juju or super stiutions it is about the team and how good they are. Don't worry so much about juju and focus on how the team is playing.
