Re: Osi Done For The Year
Either they get Strahan back or pickup one of our cut players, that could include Chris Wilson (I hope not).

Re: Osi Done For The Year
Yeah I thought about that. I have no clue how yalls depth at LB is but I'm pretty sure I heard in the last few weeks about Goff and Chase Blackburn being dinged up.
Kiwanuka at DE could work I guess.

Re: Osi Done For The Year
I dont see Strahan coming back though and if he decides to, more power to him. He's out of shape at this point I would say, at least out of playing shape. They're hoping that Wynn will step up.

Re: Osi Done For The Year
Bottom line-Giants are fucked. Their D lives and dies with the pass rush.

Re: Osi Done For The Year
I don't really understand why you guys let Kiwanuka get away. He had a very solid year for you, and the Bills didn't give him a ridiculous contract. You should have resigned him.

Re: Osi Done For The Year
I would rather beat a team w/their best players, and I wish all the players could stay as healthy as players in other sports, but that's not the way it is.
I thought the g-men would struggle this year before this happened, now it looks even more like they're on course for a tough year. They do have good depth w/Kiawanuka & Tuck at DE, those guys are much better than most teams' starting DEs, but Osi is probably their MVP. Huge loss for them, but based on last night's game, they're still good enough to beat us in 11 days. |

Plus they're in the New York media circus... I could see them having a very average year. And that's fine.

Re: Osi Done For The Year
Wait a minute, Kiwanuka still plays for the Giants.
You guys are talking about Kawika Mitchell. He's a linebacker. |

Re: Osi Done For The Year
That was Kiwaku (sp?) Mitchell. I used to get them confused all the time, as well. I was talking about Mathias Kiwanuka. He was drafted last year (or the year before) as a DE. Last season, they moved him to OLB.

Re: Osi Done For The Year
Bad deal for the Giants. We're lucky that Jason Taylor isn't in the same situation. As much as I dislike the rest of the NFC east I wish him a full recovery.
