You are kind of right! Two time All American at ND. PF HOFer 1968 and was in the top 70 greatest Redskins! Wayne Milner E, 1936-41, 1945. Played TE and DE. Had the first B&G 100 yd. game. Starred on four Divisional title teams. He helped the B&G to one of their NFL Championships in 1937.

Re: Throwback or Throwout?

Now that our number one draft pick has assumed number 11, I was wondering if it is possible to change the name on the back of the Ramsey jersey that was given to me for free from the Redskins store after his release. I almost didn't take the jersey, because I knew I would never wear it, but if I could change the name I might actually wear it. If it's going to look cheezy then I won't even bother.

That's a good idea. I'd prefer a Malcolm Kelly jersey, but I'd rock Thomas' if I had to.
I always hear people talk about wanting to get a nameplate changed on a jersey but I don't think I've ever heard from who has actually had it done.
How much would it cost and does it look legit?

The hardest thing to find is a shop with identical fabric. All the places around me couldn't match it up exactly and it really stuck out. The quote was only like 20 bucks from one place for them to do all the work. They suggested I buy a thread puller and remove the nameplate, flip it around, bring it back in and they would screenprint another name on it for only $10. Then they made sure to tell me that they were not responsible if anything happened to the jersey and that scared me off.

Re: Throwback or Throwout?

I used to have a Lavar Arrington jersey, but I gave it to my friend because I bought a Sean Taylor jersey before the 07 season and he didn't have any jerseys or anything like that.

I mean the way I think about it is if you are too poor to afford a different jersey then there's nothing wrong with wearing the jersey of a player who is no longer with the team. It's better than not wearing any jersey or piece of clothing supporting the team you like at all. I remember the first game I went to, I didn't have any Redskins clothes so when I got to the stadium the first thing I did was buy a 'Skins t-shirt and a black Skins hat that I still wear to this day lol.

Looks like your patience has paid off!!! You can say it’s a Colt Brennan jersey now.
