Pfftt... common sense. I like living in the delusional world I've created for myself this week. The colors are so pretty here.

The defense is carrying the team right now and everybody knows it. And if you ask me, the defense has been very good here 3/4 years. The offense 1/4 years and the offense stunk at the end of 05. Don't you think that there is a problem with the guy who is in charge of it? Why are we always blowing 2nd half leads since he has been back? Even the players know it and are commenting on it. I'm not trying to be too hard on Gibbs but I just know Gibbs 1 was never like this. We were always burying teams when we got up on them. This crap I see now is not even the same guy who was here before.

I'll use Clev. as an example. They are 3-3 but they had to play at Pitt and at NE. But I would say we have better talent on offense than they do. They are scoring points with Derek Anderson as the QB. I don't know their scores off hand but I know they scored over 50 and over 40 and they scored 27 or 28 against Balt. one of best defenses in the NFL. My question is why? Why are they scoring more with less talent?

Because they have a pretty solid OL

It's my beloved Redskins. They always win games they are not supposed to and lose games they are supposed to win.

Lots of points going to be scored in this one.

Both teams are going to throw, throw, throw. We are going to take away the deep stuff, and force them to throw short to intermediate. If we can get pass pro, I think we can go deep on this team. Lots of plays in this one will mean lots of points even if the offenses don't play well.

Respectable?

Gibbs takes over this weeks play calling (behind the scenes). Running game breaks out this week against the PATS. Some playaction bombs of our own are in store as well. We get back to smashmouth football and control the clock very well in this road affair. Run left, right, toss, pitch, sellers, portis, betts, and keep pounding and no turnovers! Kicking game big in this and we have a great punter.

Defense needs to continue with a 4 man rush and Carter and company have a much better game. Our LB's need to play run when they are in tight and drop into aggressive zones when they spread us out. Sean Taylor plays deep all day to make sure Moss doesn't have that easy score. Springs and Rogers tight and looking to make plays. NO BLITZES EARLY! Brady will not be beaten by our blitz we will. Continue what they have been doing and we score another td on Defense here. We are by far the best defense they have faced and will beat them on Sunday.

HAIL!!!!!!

Why would we want to throw throw throw against them? They are the best in the NFL at shootout football this year. Frustrate them and run run run.

Simply: we can't run.

No such thing as moral victories in the NFL.

I hope all the home fans are thinking like you so tear will be shed after the game. You're gonna lose the game bro. Back down to earth for the PATS and the evil empire!!!!

I'm glad you're not making the game plan this week.

No way we beat them in a shootout in NE. We have to run and will get the rythm back this week. Our o-line will be MVP this week. Gibbs has just as many rings for the skins as Bill for NE. This is where the coaching is all worth it and Joe comes through here in the clutch. Rackers wide left!!! ITS OUR YEAR.........

That's what I've been saying since last week.
I really feel like our defense will surprise them and rough them up a bit more than they might expect, especially if they're peeking past us (I say peeking because I think they're too good to be caught completely looking past anyone) to next week.
However, I'm just worried about what their defense will do to our banged up O-line.

I think it could be interesting and I refuse to completely count us out. At the same time, I think that it is entirely possible to prove yourself in a losing effort, so I hope we really show the world something if we happen to lose.

Fellow Skins fans, I'm sorry to say but this is a joke. It took us overtime to beat the winless Dolphins barely beat the sorry eagles and cardinals. Tom Brady is gonna shit on our face's. We are way to conservative from a coaching stand point. Our o-line will not be able to block the patriots front and our defense will not even be able to contain the NE offense. Cheers

Re: 12th's 5 Reasons Why The Skins Beat N.E.

our defense will dominate the pats during the first half. we will frustrate them and will not score a lot of points on us, again I am pointing to the first half when our defense still fresh.

and the 2nd half, they will start to dominate us and score points in bunches, because our defense will get tired and our offense continue to suck and cannot control the clock.

but once again this will be the lowest offensive output for the pats. but we have a slim chance to pull this one thru
