Re: The Haskins Threat
Why I do have hope:
1. Haskins made plays to win the game yesterday. Big mental boost for the guy, great job. 2. You can see rapport being built between Haskins and Terry, Harmon, AP, Guice. 3. The offensive coaching produced opportunities in the passing game. Plays were there to be made. Id say, keep Harmon, Terry on the field. For the love of god, get Sims or PRich in the slot and put Quinn on the bench.

Re: The Haskins Thread
Bad optics with the selfie thing, some in the local media will undoubtedly have a field day with that this week. I say who cares but the haters don’t need much fuel to blow it up into a big deal.
Supposedly he has a wrist issue which could have led to the accuracy issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

As for the Wrist issue, he has never been an accurate passer in the intermediate game so I think that was just an excuse. He used his legs yesterday to win the game and that's great but that won't get it done for the majority of games.. Its not like he is lamar jackson running around.

Re: The Haskins Threat
I'm not going to be critical of Haskins on the field, this is the worst situation he could be in considering all the issues with Gruden and the front office had early on. Gruden had no intentions of preparing Haskins to be the starter, it was McCoy or Bust for Jay. Outside of getting playing time, this year has been a waste for DH. Next training camp will be his first real training camp so give the kid some leeway when it comes to footwork and general on field stuff.
on the sideline, kid is clueless little bitch. I'm already tired of hearing about this bullshit. DH wants to be a leader but isn't mature enough for it. Callahan going for the lead on 1st down with 20seconds left shows you how fucked up this whole situation is. Callahan is in over his head as well. |

Re: The Haskins Threat
WE have to draft a QB next year. They're not going to do what the Cards did but they have to draft a guy in the 3rd or 4th round. You simply have to get another young guy in the mix. Haskins needs to be pushed by someone who is already more mature and more fundamentally sound.

Re: The Haskins Threat
It feels like an rg3 situation all over again, but less mature, and less athletically gifted. I hope he can learn...and even if he does, I have a feeling he wont stick around past his rookie contract. He wants to get paid and doesnt care about team. And that's *if* he pans out. Just the feeling I have with no real justification behind it.

Re: The Haskins Threat
You can improve though especially if there is willingness by the player. Lamar Jackson is making throws this year he is not even close to making last year.

Re: The Haskins Threat
I didn't like the Haskins pick from the start. And the fact he was Danny's pick all but guarantees they're not going to bail on him any time soon.

Re: The Haskins Threat
100% correct. The only reason they bailed on RG3 was because he couldn't stay on the field because of injuries. No matter what progress he makes or doesn't make, as long as DH stays healthy he will be the Skins QB.

Re: The Haskins Threat
