Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
I guess, we all read the stuff anyway. Why try to pour more on to it than there really is?

Ravens released Walt Harris.
If he can't make it in the depleted, desperate Ravens' secondary...he's done.

Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
I'm really happy about how the offensive line is coming along. I don't know if the game had passed Buges by but for some reason I think we're better off with him gone.
For one thing our O-Line is playing up against a much more aggressive 3-4 D. This will only make them better. I'm not sold on the line yet but I am satisfied that the rebuilding of the line is underway. I would like for us to get a damn good center and another LT in the next draft. After that I think we can afford to pick one lineman a year for awhile. Dockey and Raback will not last and these other guys we picked up aren't Spring chickens. Will Robison, Rhinehardt, Williams go the distance? Will Stephanie Heyor? Will Armstrong? I'll have to wait and see. But what I do see I like.

Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
I like the progress Edwin Williams is making. Not too surprised though. No particular reason for thinking this, but it wouldn't surprise me if Kory L. wins the starting RG job.
The real question mark to me is Chad Rinehart. In way to me he's like Kelly, time to step up or step off

Really, the blame falls on whoever was that genius who traded away picks and hoped to depend almost entirely on the UDFA pool and wtf-turrible practice squad scrubs like D'Anthony Batiste to provide the team with its offensive linemen.

Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
Yeah he has stepped up a lot the past couple of days. To be clear though, he has been solid all spring in run defense. But his pass defense, which is you know where his focus should be as a DB, has been suspect.

Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
I'm hearing really good things about Terrence Austin's route running, so that's nice to hear.
And Buchanon has been a great veteran influence from what I've heard

Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
So Smoot, at this point do you think Austin can make the roster as a 5th WR/Specialist or can he only make it if we roll with 6WR? Whats your gut feeling on the WR situation in general? My gut tells me we'll start the team with #2WR currently not on the roster, although i'm not sure who.
