Carlos is becoming an INT threat!

Carlos Rogers picks off Rex Grossman. Rogers made leap and stretch on the INT. The turnover came on Grossman's 4th straight poorly throw ... 14 minutes ago via txt

Carlos is having an unbelievable camp. Right now I'd probably say Fred Davis and Carlos Rogers are the offensive and defensive MVPs

I'm also hearing a lot about Fred Davis and how he'll be used in the slot quite a bit. But yeah, I hear he's having a great camp.

Sounds like Los is a lot happier about how he's going to be used in this D.

Let's see it in the regular season. As hard as I have been on Rogers over the years, and deservedly so, I would like nothing more for him to turn into a player indicative of his draft position. If he and Landry play up to their draft slots this year our defense is gonna be hell to deal with!

On offense, I get the sneaking feeling that Davis is about to break out with a Pro Bowl type of season. I know he's 'behind' Cooley, but every day more and more is written about 'McNabb to Davis down the field' and no mentions of Cooley. If Davis becomes the de-facto #3 WR and Cooley is a Dallas Clark like underneath/outlet guy then we could have something quite special out of that position group.

Agreed good to hear this stuff coming out of camp. BUT we have to remember that it is day 8 of the 2010 NFL season.

Of course. I'm also considering how he finished last season as well as the raves from the offseason and how much McNabb loves the TE. I'm not buying parade route tickets yet.

If this year hasn't already been enough of a culture shock from last year's Zorn led team

granthpaulsen

Mike Shanahan had an assistant watch for players not running plays out & hustling. Then after practice he called tem out and made them run. 13 minutes ago via txt

Buster that is just nasty!

Paintrain-

Comment more directed at Rodgers then Davis. I think we all have a feeling he will be a beast.

Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread

Well, with the new staff and a complete turnaround in team chemistry and an overwhelmingly positive outlook and attitude, I truly believe we can expect great things with this squad. We have not gotten any worse at ANY position since last year, and have bolstered the O Line, the most important aspect of any offense, other than QB. And for the first time in a long time, we have a legitimate quarterback.

If the 3-4 works out like the players think it will, I wouldn't rule out a 10 win season.

I am more excited for this upcoming season than I have been for any others in my 29 years as a redskin fan.

RI reporting that Jamaal Brown's hip is a little sore, but MRI was negative for structural damage. Just needs some rest.

Also, NFL officials in camp today discussing rules with players and answering their questions.

Redskins Insider - Injuries mounting for offensive line, receivers

That headline is a little misleading in that we only have 2 WR injured, one who we have known about since day one, and of course J. Brown. The Brown injury I am not to concerned about at this point because of the injury he suffered last year, and I would not be at all surprised if he was a little more sore than the rest since he has been out of football for a year. He will come on though and hopefully be the big guy we need on the RT spot.

It's Jason Reid. Posting catchy titles are more important to him than posting accurate titles.
