Re: 2012 NFL Draft (Day 2)
Not really. I mean the Cowboys secondary was apparently terrible last year and the Eagles remain committed to the wide 9, aka the worst defensive system in all of football. Redskins were pretty good but not great. The Giants were terrible until the playoffs came around.

The wide 9 can work, when they players aren't complete greenhorns to the system and you have the horses to run the system. Detroit and Tennessee are two examples.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft (Day 2)
Give me Miller and Sanders in the 4th, Thomas in the 5th and I'm pleased.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft (Day 2)
Not gonna lie; us picking the LeRibere or whatever his name is, is cracking me up with his various responses over the board.
"Who is this guy?" "What did we pick?" "What a wasted pick!" "He's a great player, we just need to let him sit on the practice squad a few years" hahaha

Re: 2012 NFL Draft (Day 2)
Any 2 of those 3, I'd be fine with; Thomas will still be available in the 5th, IMO

From what i've read, some people had him in the 3rd, some 4 and some later. I think that is to be expected with the later rounds: analysis of each player becomes a lot more subjective. And let's not forget, we got a 7th rounder!!! |
