Seriously? What do you get for $25? I haven't been to an NFL game in 25 years, recently been to Nascar and the beers are $8 for a 16 oz can of Bud or Coors.

Oh I don’t know if its 25. Recently went to great adventure with my daughter. So she took off with her friends and me and the wife got two Octoberfest and it was almost 30 dollars. Im sure the non domestic beers at the stadium have to be like 15 bucks.

Re: The Haskins Threat

Haskins best quarter was the 4th quarter.

Moses said the video clip of Haskins asking the O line "what can I do to help you get better" was not Haskins chewing them out. He said Haskins is young. But that clip was cringeworthy.

Did Haskins take a shot at the play calling post game? If so ... less of that please. Too soon to get into the "Tom Brady and Aaron Rogers wouldnt be good on this team" deja vu.

Honestly fuck that the playcalling is absolute garbage and all those calling the plays will be gone well before Haskins. Also Moses can gtfo too. He is fucking awful. The whole line was awful. Good for Haskins if it pissed him off. This isn’t peewee these idiots are getting paid millions and should perform like it.

Playcalling has to be scaled back to ease Haskins in. I get that. Im fine with that. Hopefully he is part of the game plan process and people are actually communicating with each other.

Pass pro - I dont think its as simple as blaming the O line. They played above expectations when Case was in there getting the ball out on time on 3-5 step drops. Half the sacks yesterday seemed to be on Haskins not getting the ball out on time (guy not open or he doesnt trust his eyes yet?).

Haskins has the ability to slide protections, check out of plays etc so idk honestly. They had 6 sacks yesterday?

Re: The Haskins Threat

I don't think that clip was cringeworthy, I think it was helpful.

For 3 quarters they looked totally out of sync in all aspects. Rookie or not, if things aren't working right you have to talk to your guys and work through it. He did and miraculously things got better in the 4th quarter.

I don't think any of the 10 other guys on the field would respect Haskins if he just isolated himself off the field.

Re: The Haskins Thread

I think this was an honest request for help from his OL. Part of the problem of a rookie slow progression, a very good blitzing scheme, his slow release, etc.

This OL has gone from good, to decent to just plain awful. Moses has regressed significantly and with his multitude of penalties is a total liability. Scherff has also really gone downhill. For a guy in his contact year he looks like crap. I’ll be interested in what the next HC does with them. The loss of Trent to this OL can’t be overstated. He was the soul of the OL. Flowers is decent. Penn is just a stopgap.

This OL will take two years of draft picks and FA to fix.

Re: The Haskins Threat

Knowing what we know now where do you think Haskins should have been picked? I am kind of shocked how bad his fundamentals can be. He does have a nice arm, but overall has a long way to go. IMO he shouldn't have been a first round pick, more like mid 2nd round at best.

Projects like him should be taken in the 5th round. But QB's are always over drafted. Haskins reminds me so much of Cardale Jones. A big raw QB with a huge arm who really needed to stay in college. I believe Jones was taken in the 4th by the Bills.

Speaking of Jones he will be here in DC playing for the XFL team.

The team drafted him with the intent of sitting a year. Its not his fault that the team sucks so freaking bad that they really had no choice but to play him. If we were like a normal bad 4-7 or so, I think Case would still be playing. I still think he was the right pick at 15 and he will be a good QB. He for sure needs to find one of those QB guru's this offseason and work his ass off though. He is much better than Cardale Jones. Jones was a flash in the pan over a few games at the end of the season at OSU.

Re: The Haskins Threat

This team more than any other could use a stud TE and that along with guice out of backfield would give Haskins some options on the quick throws.. losing Reed and Davis was devastating to his development

This. The TE position going into this year was the biggest miss by whoever was involved with those decisions. It was inexcusable.
