Well the length of days only is a tthing because I switched to an early AM schedule and was supposed to shorten from the 10 to 10 I was doing to 730 to 5. But I didn't leave before 730 any day this week... Gotta get the work done though. C'est le Guerre

Re: The Friday thread
36 sucks, 35 is sooo much better.
at 36 i now understand and laugh at work related jokes in dilbert comic strips. at 35 i was all about beer, boobies and madden man i miss 35 i just got done my two huge motions. ive spent some late nights in the office the past 2 weeks. ive basically been dreading this 2 week period for about 5 months now .... but now im done the Os are in the ALCS and i can now use the shoulder immobolizer the ER gave me on friday night when i dislocated my shoulder. i went rex grossman and said fuck it, im not wearing it this week bc it would slow down my typing. plus i can venture over to that expensive but well versed beer store and pick out a gem. price is no option (as long as its under 20 bucks or so) |

Re: The Friday thread
today has a friday feel.
its raining/snowing here, tomorrow is Thanksgiving, our office is closed on Friday. around 2:30 i tell everyone to leave by 3 pm. I start gathering my things, call wifey and tell her i am on my way, stop and hit the restroom real quick on my way to the parking garage and then it hits me .... I have a federal court deadline today. So I walk back in, office manager asks why im back i say "you know that thing you told me to get started on weeks ago and to not let it sneak up on me? well it snuck up on me." its nothing huge. im almost done but man am i happy i remembered it before i was 1 hour into my commute bc i would have had to turn the hell around and drive back to the office. i was almost out early thoo .... almost. |

Re: The Friday thread
Haven't been this excited for a 2 day weekend in a long time. This is about as good as it gets for me lately. Not doing anything special either, gotta take care of some X-mas shopping and do some tasks around the house, but I'm just glad to have 2 days off work. And I'll be watching football on Sunday, at least until the Redskins game gets out of hand and then I'll switch to something else.
