Re: The Too Soon 2021 NFL Draft Thread

What scares me about giving up the farm for a QB is the injury bug ... let’s say we give up this years #1 and next years #1 and a player for Watson .. then Something crazy happens ( Smith, Burrow, RG3, type injury.. ) it’s bad enough to have it happen if you use your pick but to go all in and use a ton of resources on one player ..We need a QB for sure and I would look at trading maybe This years first but not much more than that ( I know Watson would take a ton to get .. just not sure if I would do that )

Chris Olave and Jeremy Ruckert both announced they are returning to Ohio State for next year. So that is 2 receivers off the draft board.

Olave - Pretty surprising. Probably a lock to be picked in top 50. Looks like he wants top 25. Risky gamble.

Potential late round QB project:

Kent State QB Dustin Crum

Think he's going back to play college ball in 2021.

Yep, you're correct.

Kent State QB Dustin Crum

I won't start that thread yet lol. Some of the sites don't update their prospect rankings very quick when guys decide to return for another year.

Re: The Too Soon 2021 NFL Draft Thread

skinsfaninok, what is up with the PFF mock draft simulator? I just picked one of the top QBs available every round until there weren't anymore available.

I noticed that no matter who or when I picked a QB I got an A+. Just wanted to see what would happen. Look at those amazing grades lol. 6 of 7 were A+.

I like that draft. Got to be able to find a starter somewhere in that gang right? 😁

I like a man who is determined to solve a problem, a man who thinks out of the box. You are a regular Mike Ditka when it comes to boldness in drafting!

The position value is always greater at QB. It's how the computer works lol.

The use of Position value can be set in PFF simulator

I did this with all medium settings. That's pretty absurd. Computer might need a few tweaks. Even at the lowest setting that isn't reasonable.

Re: The Too Soon 2021 NFL Draft Thread

Does it account for position taken in the rating? Maybe try picking Crum at #1?
