That's true, but that's about it: a drive against the Ravens and a game against the Browns. The rest of the time he's been middling or hide-your-eyes bad.

Cousins is an ok NFL QB and that's all.

Nope, doesn't count. It's Cleveland man.

Yup, pretty much.

While I do think he has a bit more talent than what he's showed here, I don't think he'll ever be more than a great backup/stopgap NFL starter.

Isn't that where our backup Colt McCoy came from?
In Cleveland, Colt McCoy lost his starting job to Brandon Weeden, then lost the back up QB role to Jason Campbell. What does that say about Colt?

I don't think Cousins has had enough of a look to really gauge what type of player he is or more importantly what he can be. His results so far are about what you can expect from a young QB with a handful of starts over 2 seasons.

Would have to totally agree with that.
He had a monster game in Cleveland. On the road too continue a run to the playoffs? That's the one people were drooling over. Cleveland's fans were saying our 4th round qb was better than their first round qb weeden.

if you look back at that cleveland game, it really wasn't very monstrous. 2 tds 1 int 330 yards. nothing special.

I'm not sure there's anyone left at RP that stands on the table for Kirk. Colt, on the other hand

first career start? completed over 70% of his passes on the road? 104 rating for the game? come'on that's pretty solid effort

It was definitely very solid. Funny how some are sweeping it under the rug like it didn't happen now.

New staff (mostly), to be expected I guess. Is Gruden the big fan of Colt specifically? I don't get it myself but I'll keep an open mind.

That Cleveland sucks? My above post was sarcasm, my bad if you thought I was serious.

Kirk has the Shanastank and it won't wash off.

What in the hell does anyone over there see in McCoy? Baffling to me.

And Allen too apparently. I don't even really know what it is. I think he's a guy most coaches like to have on the team, but few would ever want actually playing
