Our front office, and the other 31, pay staffs of scouts, coaches, and gms lots of money to evaluate college players. Team staffs spend MONTHS researching all these players in depth, and give each one of them a grade based on feedback provided by scouts, position coaches, coordinators, head coah, etc. but some people here label this guy a reach and piss on MONTHS of work because of a 20 second google search.

So if you're one of those who instantly criticized this pick, tell us all:

What do you know about him in 20 seconds that our team didn't find out in their extensive research?
a reach is a reach. You don't have to be Albert Einstein to spot one. It is obvious they liked the guy and he very well maybe a a great player for us, which is the most important thing. I think what people are disappointed about is the possibility they could have got a higher ranked player AND this guy as well. I guess the FO's logic is that if they had him ranked this high then another team may of also so just be safe and take him now.

Anyone know how BMW is doing? I kind of felt like as soon as his career ended was going to gain all his weight back in like 6 months.

I'm liking Indy's draft. They're surrounding Andrew Luck pretty well.

If you base your opinion of a person on a few seconds of Internet reading, and that opinion is contrary to that of people who spent months doing research, then it means one of two things:

1) you're a moron
2) you think too highly of your own Ill-informed opinions

Re: 2012 NFL Draft (Day 2)

Teams working him at center, so may plug in at multiple positions. Hope they know what they're doing. With two fourth rounders, would have assumed this guy would have been there to take later.

Good thing Shanahan can make these mid-round draft picks turn into gold, because I'm disappointed by what seems like reach. I'm hoping he's more than Chad Rinehart, another one drafted too early in the 3rd round -- who's off our team.

If LeRibus wins a Starting spot at G or C in a year or two , where he was drafted won't matter , and we added another pick .

Lifestyle change. Simply moving from being mostly sedentary to doing cardio and getting back to training and practice will started increasing the calorie consumption rate. This is not a chronic issue with him.

He should get credit for losing the weight, much easier to gain it than lose it.

He's also got some size and ooomph. Seems like Shanny is higher increased his standards now that he doesn't have 8 games one mile above sea level and the NFC East is one bloodthirsty divsion on defense.
