Then we need to take care of the Raiders next week and see how things fall into place. Today's devastating loss will be hard to bounce back from.
If the defense keeps giving up big plays every week, our last game will be on New Year's Day at Philadelphia.
Wait a minute. Hold your horses. We have loss only one NFC conference game. Beating the Seahawks, 49ers and Bears with the Giants losing still puts us in the mix. Atlanta loss. St.Louis loss. Giants loss. So we are still in it as long as we win the next 6 out of 7 games. It is very possible.

1 game out of division lead, and we get to play the giants at home. if we make the playoffs, it will most likely be through the division title.

We have two NFC conference losses; to the Giants and to the Bucs. I think you meant we have one division loss.

I mean that the Conference game is within the NFC conference excluding the NFC division. Which means if we tie with Seattle or Chicago we're in. I am aware that loss only one divsion game.

That would leave us at 7-6, and probably out of the playoff race. Today's game had huge implications, and with as many good teams as there are in the NFC, if we finish 9-7 it probably won't be good enough to get us into the playoffs.

did you not think alaxander would be to much to handle also? How many rushing yards did the bucs get today?

Re: Upcoming Schedule

Yeah, I agree. Winning the NFC East is our best shot at making the playoffs. There are too many teams with better records who could win the two wild cards.

Re: Upcoming Schedule

I believe that the division winner and the second place team in the East is going to make the playoffs. Heck, if we were going soley by records, then I'd think everybody from the East would make the playoffs.....of course I realize that won't happen.

Re: Upcoming Schedule

there are actually only 2 teams with a better record than us, excluding the division leaders, and excluding dalASS because they havent played

buccaneers :frusty: :frusty:
and
falcons, who will probably take one wildcard

both are only 1 game better, we are still in good shape guys

1 game out of a wildcard, one game out of division lead

how do tiebreaker go?
head to head or conference first?
