He'll most likely be in there. Say what you want about TO (and its mostly true) but he does play hurt and still makes plays, so I expect him to play.

Re: Owens status in doubt for Sunday night game

By the way, I'm just throwing this out there, but doesn't it seem a little peculiar that T.O. declared himself possibly unable to play against the Skins and Cowboys? I mean, if you were bitter at a team for not paying you enough money, and you really wanted to make your point about how lost this team is without you.......what part of the schedule would you pick to F#*! your team over?

I'm just saying........ I mean T.O. looked good to me all game long in Denver......but then come Monday he's "injured"? I can't help but think last year's T.O. would have played through whatever pain he is feeling now........we'll see what happens but I wouldn't be surprised if T.O. v. Eagles makes the front page again over the next week or so.

Wait, Wait, Wait...skin fans...T.O. being out is a bad thing, if he's in they will pass, and pass and pass...if he's out they will run, think about it run...we don't the Eagles trying to get smart and run the ball on us...anyone remember the Giants game, because if T.O. is out they will have noone to pass to and they will try to run.....good for them, bad for us

No, no no. They are still NFL coaches, they will try to run the ball. I dont care if they are going to try to the run the ball a little more with TO not in there, if he is not on the feild, thats a huge swing for us.

giants game was a fluke. heck i'm glad we got murdered at this pt. now we'll hopefully be inspired to finish out the yr and beat up on some division opponents. there's no way the g-men are 36 pts. better than us.

i dont know if thats on topic.

we shud beat the eagles they're struggling.

Re: Owens status in doubt for Sunday night game

Whatever, w/TO out we will actually be able to stop the run. We'll stack the line since their other scrub receivers pose no threat.

How can anyone seriously suggest that TO being out is bad for the opposing team? Say what you want about his shenanigans, he's the only Eagle who has consistently showed up to play this year.

i thought a big part of the eagles getting beat down against denver was mcnabb trying to throw to owens on every play.granted,he is a playmaker but on at least the interception in the end zone, there were other open receivers and mcnabb tried to force it in to owens

I just dont know how you think having TO one the feild would be a good thing for us. Did you see what he did last weekend against Denver. The guy is a prime time player. I mean what would it be like if Moss wasent on the feild for us, would that be good for the Redskins?

ESPN's Dan Patrick is reporting, and implying that TO's recent statements to the press regarding his health and possibly not playing in the Skins game as contract related and meant to squeeze the Eagles

Pulled this off another Fan site a few minutes ago. Who didn't suspect it was BS?

Re: Owens status in doubt for Sunday night game

DON'T YOU BELIEVE IT!

I've been following this in fantasy football for a decade and noticed this tendency:
  • If they say Probably or Questionable, it's 99.9% they will play
  • If they say Doubtful, it's 75% they will play
  • If they say Game Time Decision, it's 50-50 they will play
  • If they say Out, it's 10% they will play; but that's the only time I bench the star.
