Re: Brunell Starting
Yup, Ramsey is definitely getting the shaft, but I gotta' say you either put up or shut up. I'll support whoever is the starter and I definitely agree that they should not have annouced the starter yet (Maybe Ramsey IS the starter and Gibbs is being scheisty).
I really do think that if Brunell can keep up the accuracy he had in the preseason, he gives us a chance to win.

Re: Brunell Starting
I hope they just leave Ramsey on the bench and then trade him somewhere where he'll have the chance to torch us.

Re: Brunell Starting
I can just picture that, Dallas will get him and he'll be just what they needed to return to glory. Pardon me, I must now go throw up having envisioned that.

Re: Brunell Starting
as a skins fan, i feel compelled to believe joe gibbs knows what he's doing. i have the utmost faith in him, and while i feel really bad for putting patrick through this whole ordeal, it won't deter my faith from gibbs.

Re: Brunell Starting
I hope that Gibbs realizes that Brunell is not that great after this game against Dallas.

Re: Brunell Starting
You need some sort of threat of a passing game to have an effective run, Clintons 18 lbs he put on needs to be more like 40 to take the damn beating in the box that is going to be stacked on him. I know my complaining is not going to change the nightmare that I came home to from today, but please tell me I will wake up.
Turnovers can kill your team, but no offense at all is complete and utterly painful to watch and still lose. Geez we have got to be the biggest laughing stock in the NFL. I know I trust in Gibbs and did all last year, but at sometime I have to ask what the hell are the motives? What is he thinking, he says he knows the NFL has changed drastically, but I do not see where he has really grasped that with personnel moves he is making and the logic we are using behind our defense is good enough to win games with no offense. Good Luck Patrick next year when you go on to great things and win a championship for another team or at least solidify yourself and enjoy the playoffs, while we still sit here and chat on the board about how Brunell is ineffective and in two years hopefully we got a Mcnabb type QB and not a Jeff Blake. Re: Brunell Starting
I just dont see how anybody can have faith in brunell. I mean we all know ramsey isnt the next peyton manning but brunell has only showed positive signs once in 2 years and that was against backup defenses this preason.

Re: Brunell Starting
Hear me out on this one.. What I would like to see happen at this point is for Ramsey to be demoted to #3 and Campbell instilled as the backup. Gibbs wants to win this year and he doesn't beleive that Ramsey can do the job. Ride Brunold as long as you can, if he's winning then fine, keep up the good job, if not, let's go to Campbell and get ready for the future. Ramsey doesn't need to see the field again as a Redskin. It's clear he won't be a Redskin after this season so if the coaching staff has no faith in him then don't waste time working with another teams QB and develop Campbell.
