Re: Offensive MVP 9/11/05
CP all the way baby!
Just when we needed something he broke off that 41 yarder and consistently got yards late in the game after a slow start. |

I gave it to the O-Line. They did a solid job all day against a great defensive line.
Special mention to Portis. I was really impressed with his patience waiting for the holes to open, and his blocking was solid. |

Is it just me or did Portis run people's asses over as well as BY them?

Portis...but it was nice seeing Moss running down the field for 50+ yards after the catch! :-D

The O-line is a close second to CP.

Re: Offensive MVP 9/11/05
I gave it to the OL. Portis is great and a close 3rd after Special Teams Ace John Hall!!! Betts had somewhere around 60 yds on the ground and with Portis' 121 the OL proved they're for real!

Re: Offensive MVP 9/11/05
I think in a close game like that you have to give it to Portis, who just pounded away all game and broke the big run late. I do think we've got great blocking though and a good 1-2 punch with Betts.
Moss had a great day too stretching the field and I expect him to put up good numbers against the cowboys.
