The two things aren't mutually exclusive. Always like New Orleans and watching the Saints rally after Katrina was pretty awesome. And G Williams winning a bs with them was pretty cool. All those things.

I wish the Skins offense was modeled after the Saints.

Well u would need Drew Brees and Sean Payton, that's a pretty easy find

Yeah man, I've been there a few times. My girlfriend is in her first year of medical school there, so I went there a couple times helping her make a decision as to which school she'd settle on, and a few times after that (was there for Thanksgiving week most recently). It is cool though, her townhouse is close to arrowhead, so I already plan to purchase tickets in four years when the skins play there lol. What's also neat is she's got a few chiefs players close by--J. Houston literally lives across the street.

That's pretty cool, it's what I like about it here in OKC, guys like Kevin Durant can come out in public and not have to worry about getting mobbed by fans or paparazzi etc.

Lol. I think RG will come out balling next year. Hopefully he's paired with an offensive guru on the sideline. I'm far from losing hope here.

Stupid optimism...

Cousins leads Skins to a 13-12 loss.

Kai is a perfect 4-4 on FGs...then has the game-winner BLOCKED because the snap sucked.

I never pick the Skins to lose but we're in Swinging Gate territory now, again.

Nothing wrong with having a 2nd team, distant 2nd of course.

I also dig the Saints, I love that city and I like seeing them do well.

I live in Panthers territory and have always supported them (unless of course they are playing the Redskins.) I've been to the stadium before for a game. Nice fans, very down to earth. I'm hoping they're able to make the playoffs and do well. I'm not the biggest Cam Newton fan, but he's playing pretty well this year.

Re: Skins vs. Falcons Pre-game Thread

Cousins goes down in the 4th with a busted pinky after Chester trips into him. With the score tied at 13, Rex Grossman comes in and promptly throws 3 TD passes. The next day Kyle resigns, Cousins and Griff are both cut and Rex is named OC/QB and Sexiest Man Alive

Then gets arrested for public drunkenness in an Atlanta club at 2:00 a.m.

Re: Skins vs. Falcons Pre-game Thread

Rex Grossman sideline shots make me happy. Just a periodic reminder that Rex is still on this team.

Re: Skins vs. Falcons Pre-game Thread

Kirt goes down in the 1st qtr, then sexy Rex pulls a hammy throwing a pass and our third string QB wins the game on a last minute drive. Anyone know who will be our 3rd string QB?

Do we know if RGIII will make the trip and be on the sidelines?
