Re: D. Hall is our lone Pro Bowl selection
For those saying Landry should've been our lone Pro Bowler, you are right because he was definitely worthy, but you have to understand he was put on IR before the coaches and players voted for their Pro Bowl ballots, and if you are on IR when they do their voting, you aren't going to be on the ballot. That is the reason Landry didn't get in.
And 5 Cowboys making it is a crock of shit. Ratliff and Gurode def. didn't deserve to go, I can't argue with McBriar because he is one of the best punters in the league, and can't really argue with Witten or Ware either. Should've been 3. Didn't know if Hall would make it but I'm not disappointed he did. He's certainly not been a shutdown corner this season, but he's made 6 picks in addition to at least 2 games we won because of him. He made his share of plays, and that outweighed the times his bad plays. I can see why Orakpo didn't make it, before he got injured I don't think he had a sack in quite a while. He was on fire the first half of the season with like 7.5 sacks in 7 games, but he had like 1 sack in 7 or 8 games after that. And he still might make it if one of the guys ahead of him bows out due to injury or Super Bowl duties. And I can see why Fletch didn't make it, I mean aside from his tackling he's had a down year by his standards this year, and our defense being a pile of dog shit didn't help either. Basically not suprised by 1 Skin going this year, we haven't played that well all season long, and we certainly don't have the name recognition shitty teams like the Cowboys have. And that number might go up by the time the game is played, so it ain't no biggie.

Happy for D Hall and our alternates. I find it funny that Dallas sent more than we did, I guess all it takes is a star on your helmet. The Pro Bowl has turned into a middle school class election, it is all about who is popular.

Since neither one were candidates for coach of the year, they should be FIRED. In fact, once they're dismissed, and the new coach doesn't go at least 12-4 in his first season -- HE'S FIRED TOO. Then on to the next coach, then the next, then the next, then the next ... |

Re: D. Hall is our lone Pro Bowl selection
the only thing worse than the ProBowl is the Pro Bowl voting...
I don't think any Skins played well enough to go, but clearly not all 5 cowboys should have either, and I am sure there are other examples, I just didn't look at all the rosters. |

Is the probowl the week before the superbowl again this year? That was a horrible decisions and whoever made that call should be castrated.

I give D Hall credit, But most upsetting is that London Fletcher gets snubbed again.

I think it is a good idea because you still somewhat care about football after the Super Bowl I am pretty much cooked when it comes to football, Ineed a break. With that said I still never watch the Pro Bowl it is a dumb game that is totally meaningless.

Re: D. Hall is our lone Pro Bowl selection
Good for hall and the alternates but, the pro bowl game has lost much of it's luster in recent years. Some of the better players selected don't want to play in it because of how it conflicts with the super bowl. The scheduling of that game meets with poor timing.

But in defense of Ratliff, the guy is a very undersized NT in a 3-4. He is a converted 4-3 DE. And was a 7th round draft pick. 3.5 sacks for an undersized NT who is constantly fighting off double teams is pretty good IMO. |
