I want to talk about the 2011 season opener. I think we'll win because we'll have an improved offense, defense, and special teams...lol. I don't know who we'll play yet, where the game will be, or if we'll even have one because of the potential lockout, but I still expect us to start the season 1-0...lol. HTTR!!!

Re: OK guys! 3 more games until the BYE Week.

Ok, here's my take...

Again I had us going 5-3 when we hit the bye week.
Wins:
Dallas
Rams
Eagles
Bears
Lions
Losses:
Houston
Packers
Colts

That was my take on my 9-7 record. We lost to the Rams which we should not have and won against the Packers which I didn't count on. So now we are back on track.

Colts: I don't think they are as good as yrs past. I think we can take them but it will be another hard faught game where we need to be hitting people. McNabb needs to get the players the ball and stop with the dirt balls as much as possible.

Bears: I felt would be an easy win but they are looking tougher then I thought. This will be another hard faught game.

Lions: I think we can take them.

I hope we are 5-3 by the break and 6-2 would be awsome but I'd settle for 4-4 as well since all we did was win 4 games last yr anything more then 4 games is an improvement.

I agree. Next year our offense will be even better and so will our defense. I don't think we will be an elite team early on next season but I do predict we will win next year's week 3 game by a thin margin over an elite team such as the Patriots and it will give everybody confidence that we are a great team.

I'm thinking next year's Patriots will be slightly improved simply because they have stockpiled so many mid-round draft picks.

Man, can't wait til next year, week 3. So looking forward to it.

See, I think week for will be our make or break game. But then again, it could be week 13. It's hard to tell.

But what about week 8? If you don't win your midseason games you're making your late season games even tougher on the team. Alls I know is hopefully by week 8 of next season we'll know what kind of team we have on our hands.

Re: OK guys! 3 more games until the BYE Week.

Ace dont mind the haters....I think we could be catching the next couple teams just at the right time.

1. Colts- that team is injury riddled and doesnt have their sh*t together yet so far this season. Better to get them now, on our field rather than down the road.

2. Chicago- Depending on the status of Cutler, it could be he first game back so he could be rusty. I think this is going to be one hellava ugly game. Rather play them now than in Soldier field late November, December.

3. Lions- Probably our toughest game of the 3 leading up to the bye. Away and with the Lions getting an extra week to prepare for us. The game after us will be the Jets coming into their building...will they be looking past us? Dont think so.

First, it's Monday, after a BIG win, leave this type of speculative thread for later, maybe Tuesday, or Wednesday.

Second, as you say about Chicago's game - it depends on Cutler's status, and who knows what the Lion's game depends on.

Yes we all want to be 6-2 at the bye, but it's just a bit of a stretch to start this type thread at this time on this board. ES loves these tho'

I agree. I hope it's against Dallas.

Why does everyone care so much about a thread being started? This is a forum page your supposed to talk about stuff... If you wanna talk about the next 3 games, talk about them. If you don't, don't. its that simple. No need to get on someone for starting a thread...

If you paid attention, Matty said NO threads like this until WEDNESDAY. That's when we look ahead to the next game.

Ok, your somewhat new with only 58 posts so expect some flak. lol. So let me help you out...

Why does everyone care so much about a thread being started in regards to the next 3 games?

You all don't want to discuss it .... don't enter the thread. Live the moment, and come late Wed. or Thurs. after you have savoured last weeks win, show up and speak your mind.

As I've said in the past, some one starts a thread and you don't have anything nice to say, either don't show up or don't post.

Have a nice day.

There's no need to start threads just to start threads.

Re: OK guys! 3 more games until the BYE Week.

I totally agree but this thread is a good topic about the next 3 games and how people feel about them.

I'd have more issue's with other threads before I'd have issues with this one.
