Re: Why not Fred Davis for Gaither?
No Cooley or Davis for Gaither. Gaither has too many question marks, he doesn't like to workout, his heart is not in the game, etc. Do you wander why the Ravens are shopping him if he's so valuable? They know something and are looking for a trading sucker.

Re: Why not Fred Davis for Gaither?
This is a very deep tight end draft and we're at a point now where Tight Ends are inching closer to running back status (ie important but a the same time easy to find). I mean if Vinny can find two very good TE's then they must be a dime a dozen (by the way I'm not basing it on this). It's unfortunate though, Tight End is my favorite position in all of football.

Re: Why not Fred Davis for Gaither?
Tight End has become a very important part of the passing game these days, but the idea that finding two very good Tight Ends easily is a bit of a reach. Look at Cincy, Bmore, KC, Cleveland, and the list goes on i'm sure. I like having both Davis and Cooley on the roster, but for a nice draft pick, I wouldn't mine seeing Cooley go bye bye!

Re: Why not Fred Davis for Gaither?
I would rather have either TE than Gaither..I am not sold on him....not at that price...if we get their backup TE too...that may be a better deal (of course I am assuming the guy is decent for a backup, I have no clue who it is)

Re: Why not Fred Davis for Gaither?
Let me get this right you want to trade a guy Davis who likes to play football looks like he as alot of potential for Gaither a guy who's rumored to have bad work habits & his heart really isn't in football anymore. Next year Gaither will be a free agent anyway & if Baltimore are looking to trade him, there's a fair chance they will cut him if there are no takers.

Re: Why not Fred Davis for Gaither?
I wonder if New England would give us a #2 pick for a TE. They have like 3 of them and are suposedly shopping for a TE. This is not a rumor I read...just wondering.

Re: Why not Fred Davis for Gaither?
Gaither has too many question marks as far as I am concerned to risk Cooley or Davis. I am not sure if he would fit into the ZBS as he is so big and apparently injury prone. I would rather take Okung for LT, and find a RT later in the draft or free agency.

Re: Why not Fred Davis for Gaither?
Why is everyone so capricious about getting rid of Cooley? Blasphemous motherfuckers the whole lot of you. Float Haynesworth to a team with a 4-3 for a pick or an o-lineman and cease to let the words "trade" and "Cooley" ever pollute yer filthy pie-holes again.

Re: Why not Fred Davis for Gaither?
Why are we trying to get rid of a pro bowl TE and a up and coming stud TE in Davis. I say we just have to wait and see what happens on draft day. I would rather trade JC and Andre Carter for more picks to aquire a OL in the draft.
